  1. get the key cut yourself anywhere, then do a search on here for the recoding procedure. And if its a rubbish engine, why did you buy one!?
  2. You think its over priced? That's £2k UNDER what a standard car of this spec would sell for.
  3. edited first post. Car is sold as is.
  4. Ok. So you all know Ive got myself a VXR8. The part ex on my Zed is bloody shocking. But, having tried and failed to sell previously, Im gunna take it. UNLESS Someone in the next 48 hours offers me more than £16500. Thats for a 2008 GT spec, 23k miles, and all the mods listed in my sig. No standard parts available. Car is sold as is.
  5. Yup, as Clarkson say, you pour it onto it to turn it off
  6. MASSIVE EDIT!! White car no go. Black one bought instead. pics on page 2
  7. just getting the front pads done.
  8. saw that when i was there, thought it was yours
  9. We took over a load of the Pistonheads TVR clan on the ferry yesterday morning. All nicely stickered up. This week we have carried; a Ferrari 430 16M Scag a few Lambo's, the highlight being a homebuilt replica Diablo in yellow God knows how many TVR's/chaterams/Westfields A few Noble M12's and various other stickers up motors.
  10. Welcome mate for another NE (H/Pool) owner. We do have another owner from Yarm - Shuck.

Do you have 2? He's after Dual intakes for the VQ35HR engine. I was just about to say that Ho has more than one set lying around in his draw! And if not, I would have done you a stock trade for mine before she goes in part-ex.
  12. I'm on the boat mate, so if it was my car Id want to know who the hell was driving!
  13. Yeah, but it wont cost a further £20k on what I am already paying in finance for the Zed. I'll be back to Jap cars at some point in the future I would imagine. I just fancy a V8 car for a while and scratch and itch. Smudge - Shut it.
  14. Have you seen what Im buying?!?!? Thats deffo not my reason for leaving!
  15. 2003 RX8? fuel economy maybe a little low, but you can pick them up for cheap, and they are bloody good fun to drive.
  16. Love them too Matt, and have looked into them. But they aint gunna make the right hookers anymore. And Im not paying silly amounts of money for a left hand drive car
  17. Not sure on their customer services side of things yet. Ive read a number of reports on the VXR site and PH, and mostly they seem to be pretty good about stuff. Or at least better than NMGB. Which wouldnt take an awful lot really!
  18. The VXR8 is a different car to the Monaro. There was a Monaro VXR produced. But that is a totally different model to this. The VXR8 is based on the Holden Commadore.
  19. Hey folks. Well, after 2 1/5 years of fantastic driving, and face ache from the grin , and far too much money in mods, it's time for me to be leaving. I had considered a TT build as you know, but after pricing this up, I was staring at £20k for 450whp, which is more than the car is worth, and is money I just couldn't justify. I have tried to sell my car before, but never managed due to the economic climate, or the fact that it is far from standard. So she is going in as a part exchange. Wondering what Im getting? Well, Im just putting a holding deposit on this: She's a Heron White, 58 plate, VXR8 6.2i (LS3). Already fitted with adjustable coilovers, and Bi-Modal exhaust. Hope to complete the deal in 2 weeks when I get off this flipping boat. I'd just like to say a HUGE thank you to the team for making this the place it is. It is no coincidence that this forum is the most visited site on my browser. And without the admin and moderators, this wouldnt have remained the great community it is. I've been on some amazing meets, and met some great people, and made some firm friends. You dont get rid of me that easy though, I will be loitering with intent for the forseeable future. Take it easy guys and girls.
  20. Whatever do you mean Stan?!?!?! Ok. Most of you have heard my story on this. I had my Rex for 4 years. And I was very sad to see her go. The only reason I changed to a Zed was that I fancied a bit more power. As Stan says, if you adapt your driving to the car, you will be rewarded. I never found overtaking a problem in mine, and as some people will testify, I have a habit of driving like I hired it at times. I have d**ked all over much more powerful, expensive cars in the twisties in the Rex. And as for wanting to beat other things of the lights, I shall reserve my comments about that kind of driving style. Ok ok, if you want a powerful car, with torque throughout the rev range, its not for you. In which case, why did you buy it in the first place? But if you want a car that will reward you at every chance, and sounds like the Dogs Danglies with a good aftermarket exhaust at 9000rpm. Then she's perfect. And dont even get me started on the oil debate! All that said, I did change. But, I will change the Zed for something else one day too. Thats not to say I hate Zed.
  21. Will people stop buying Hanzo's!!!! Looking good though pal
  22. Falcon is rapidly becoming my second home! Took my Zed in last week becasue of squealy brakes. One look at them and Steve could see they had glazed, so getting sorted free of charge as soon as Im back off this boat.
