  1. Again, its the letter "Z" Shuck is after. Not a Nissan Burger
  2. It's the letter "Z" from the "350z" on the back he's missing Sarah.
  3. Finally got round to getting a good coat of wax on today, and finishing off the rebadging. The full size spare is already painted black, deciding whetehr to do them all like this.
  4. Mine was a gift from family. Most of the folks back here call me Lexx, and my surname begins with a D. So L3 XXD seemed apt.
  5. Stabalisers (one each side btw, so not a MASSIVE system) are only good to a certain point. And have been proven to actually worsen a roll when waves strike at a certain frequency. And since that vid looks parametric rolling, stabalisers wouldn't help. still has something though i wouldnt think something that large would get affected too much or thought they would avoid the storm altogether. I work on things that large. Not all storms can be avoided. And google parametric rolling......the larger (beamier) a vessel, the worse it is. It can occur any time the wave frequency is just right. I've experienced it on a 70,000 ton container ship up near Flemish Cap. We did nearly $1million damage to the ship in 5 minutes.

  7. I actually just applied for job in NZ. Dont think it starts till the New Year (obviously provided I even get it!) But who knows. Hmmmm, I wonder how difficult its gunna be to import my VXR8 (or HSV Clubsport R8!)
  8. Some dealers if they are friendly with their local post office poeple, will tax your new car with proof of insurance of a current car you never heard that from me And if your insurance company where any good, they could email you a copy of your certificate. Thats what I did. Printed it out, took it to dealer, and waited while they went away and taxed it.
  9. john. It's not silver is it? I swear I just seen you driving up the A19 with the top town, and a parcel sticking up off the passenger seat.
  10. Seriously? There is a useful search function on the forum, and about 500 threads already asking the same questions. Start with the FAQ section, and do some research. Then come back and ask specific questions. Im feeling slightly generous, so remember the car has a learning ECU, so you would need a remap to go with any mods you do. For serious power you will need FI. Now go read. And welcome
  11. George, PM me your number, I have one, but dont know if its current. I'll call in on Sat 18th on my way home from the grim north. Compare cars

Just google Zeds in your colour. The OEM lip spoiler is standard, so any marketing pics will have it fitted.
  14. I started to look at sheds on Pistonheads...... started with early model Golfs, then Mk1 Golf GTi's, and before I knew it I was pricing up TVR T350's and Noble M12's! Pistonheads is dangerous. But yeah, Sheds not Public Transport!
  15. She's too quiet for me at the moment. Just booked into AAS in Newcastle for a custom catback system with switchable cutouts and possibly headers
  16. Heard you coming before I seen you!

Nick mate, I have an OEM lip spoiler in the garage "somewhere". Im certain its still in there. It in Pearl White so you will have to get it sprayed. If you're interested, drop me a PM. Al
  18. Feck all good to do in Darlo! But York is only a short drive away, so you could go spend the day there. Even Newcastle is only an hour further North.
  19. Stan, if you dont make the journey up, and its still there next Friday, let me know. I'll be back off the boat, and will pop over and have a nosey around it for you if you like.
  20. Bunch of t***ers Stan. So are the ones at their sister Nissan site in M'Boro. This was about 2 years ago though, so they may have improved.
  21. Its not to that blow-up doll we got for him at Le Mans is it.....
  22. nuts as ever George. Im up in Glasgow on the 16-18th Sept. I may have some free time if you fancy a nosey at my new car and show off your Zed. PS. Has Druck disowned you yet?
  23. Glad you found this place George! Just dropped you a PM.
  24. Aye, that'll be me. I used to be one of the most proliffic members over there. Still got some good friends over the too - Speedy36, Druck (groan), Hypo and a few others. tbh, if you didnt think the RX8 handled that great, you will struggle with a Zed in standard form. (Did you have the standard RE040's on the rear of the Rex? If so, they were a major flaw of the car, and once changed dramatically changed the handling of the car. coincidentaly the Zed also has RE040's on as standard) The Rex is still one of the best handling cars I've driven, and despite being nearly 100bhp less than my old Zed, I could still push it faster around my favourite twisties as it was so well balanced.
  25. STAN!!!! Where are you!?! It's your turn to defend the Rex this time! On a serious note. PLenty of Zeds for sale out there. Some good, some bloody awful. Be sure to spend time researching and looking around till you find the one you want. And Welcome (from a former Rex owner of 4 years, and a former Zed owner of 3 years)
