  1. My HSV has the same feature. Its nothing more than stopping you jerking forward if you try and start the car in gear.
  2. First post here, and that's all you got to say. Might I suggest you dont bother saying anything else....ever
  3. you might not be after anything special, but surely you want one that fits.... Not all the ebay items are good fits- in fact some just cant be fitted at all.
  4. I dont have a Zed anymore but for how much longer but Im still going
  5. :pmr35lee: or Those 2 guys have a variety of spares to hand
  6. +1 I cant rate them high enough. If you live further south, there is MIJ Performance in Derby. They built my RX8 system, which was pretty good tbh. I still think AAS are of a higher quality though.
  7. when I stripped back my RX8 alloys, I used "Nitromors" to strip off the paint. Worked a treat. stripped everything back, so didnt need much work. Just a very fine rub down with wet n dry (I forget the grade).
  8. Quite a few NE members mate. A good number of us are travelling to the LakeZ meet in June. Its a weekend event, and currently has over 80 cars signed up.

I keep telling you Ian, you need a big Aussie V8! ....and I just happen to know someone who is selling one....
  10. Camaro. It is basically my current car in a different frock. Although I think the 2011 camaro is based on the E3, so you would get the magnetic shocks. I love my LS3 engine, and the lazy V8 would be epic on long drives in the US.
  11. That doesnt sound like an issue really. The HR is well known to be "chatty". A feature of the car
  12. The 20% refers to the chances of it actually fitting without a load of work......
  13. Always liked the DC5, and very nearly bought one when I was selling my RX8 way back in 2007.
  14. Thats tosh what he says about tax. Pre 2006 cars are in the lower tax bracket. Its got feck all to do with the car's spec
  15. Alloys cost around £50 a corner on average for a refurb. Respray - £200-£300 a panel if its sanded back and sprayed. if its just scrath repairs, it depends on the repairer.
  16. Try holding down the eject button for a few seconds so that it cycles through all 6 CD slots trying to eject them. oh, and welcome
  17. Try parking your car in the docks with a ship on one side loading scrap, and a ship on the other side discharging cement...and then it rains. Pollen has nothing on this!
  18. Rik is well known here........ I'll say no more. Looks like Steve and Dale have done a cracking job with less than perfect parts
  19. First off, you need to clarify if you mean Polish or Wax. They are not the same things. Your post is a little confusing when referring to them....
  20. I am a fan of subtle mods, less is more, and it's all a bit too much for me, I'm not a fan of kits and wings and I think with the zed there are only a few sets of rims that enhance the cars look. Or to put it a more topical way, if it was a woman it would be Katie Price but i prefer Kate Middleton nothing wrong with either but each to their own. See, we can all appreciate your view now. You would have saved yourself some blagging if you had said that in the first place
  21. Looking good mate. As some have said, the VS aint my thing, but that makes it look ok. If it were mine, I'd take off the lip spoiler, and not both fitting the VS one. Smooooth all the way. As for Dean, If you are going to give someone a thumbs down, and least have the courtesy to explain what it is you dont like and why
  22. With those mods, non GT, import, and no tax........£8500 in mint condition. But probably closer to £8000 as tax will cost a good chunk, and then £200 ish to get all 4 wheel refurbed (more if they are split rims - its hard to tell in that pic).
  23. As the 3 of us above have said, its sounds like a system made by Nurrish. A member here. You can send him a private message or an email
