  1. yup, you can quote as many times as you like in a single post. But only a total of 5 repetetive quotes at a time in a thread.
  2. There is a member who may be along shortly who may offer to do it for free for you. However, he is off work this week and been experimenting with DIY so he could well be in intensive care by now!
  3. correct See, almost 4 years here and I've learnt stuff!
  4. Sell it to me instead! I have an Azure
  5. IIRC JDM batteries are a slightly diff size? Or am I making that up?
  6. Blade Silver spotted around about 9.30pm heading down between Mecca and Historic Quay. I was on foot walking back from seeing Pools get humped 3-0
  7. Yoko's car would be a good choice for that money. It's a flipping steal!
  8. RS Tuning is my first choice near too you, if you dont mind travelling an hour or so, then I highly recommend Falcon Performance in M'Boro.
  9. The indicator windows on batteries are a load of toss. About as effective as those on the side of Energiser batteries that you put your hands on to check. Waste of time. Recharge the battery, fit the battery, attempt to start car.
  10. There are at least 3 people currently selling sets in the For Sale section
  11. That should help me with a few of the essential upgrades!
  12. Famous last words - welcome aboard! we've all said that!
  13. I've got a front one off the old car,
  14. I just h ad a vague recollection of Sinbads car having S-Tune stuff on. Couldn't remember what the thing looked like though!
  15. Is that Sinbads old car?
  16. 2 and a half tonne saloon car trying to put 440bhp down through the back wheels when the car is constantly shifting direction. The suspension gets easily confuddled with direction changes, and the gear changes cannot be rushed. By comparison, a S2000 is light, nimple, better weight distribution, higher revving. Power isn't everything.
  17. basic new mods; Stubby aerial, exhaust, spacers, lowering springs/coilovers UpRev reflash/tune wheels air intake/filter change Thats just a start......its gets addictive and expensive.
  18. Most expensive moderator application in history? In all seriousness, I never really connected with the VXR8. I loved having the straightline grunt and torque, but I missed being able to keep up in the twisties. After having my ass handed to me by a S2000 way back in December, I knew it was time to change. Circumstances meant I couldn't effect that change until now. Selling my original Zed was the right choice at the time, but a choice I now regret. But we can;t see into the future when we make these decisions can we! I've already got initial ideas in mind for this car. I just hope I can pull them off. For now, it will be the usual stuff externally - exhaust, front nose, rear bumper, spoiler/despoiler. Next year, all being well, I will be in a place where I have saved enough to think about going FI. Until then, I am having a wail of a time searching the For Sale threads! Thanks for the welcomes back. It says something about the nature of this community that I have came back here. For me, this place is very much a key factor in the owning of a Zed.
  19. It's going part-ex to a dealer. Thanks Bronzee - you cant get anywhere near that chimney now due to health and safety boffins deciding that cars being able to get onto an abandoned industrial site is a bad thing! Shocking!
  20. from another ex RX8 owner (a long time ago)
  21. Look out Graham, you got someone with an AZURE who will give you a real run for your money in the modding stakes - the race is on It won't be azure for too long if I my plans go er.....to plan.
  22. I've got the usual plans - bodykits, alloys, respray, remortgage, power! Chris - there'll be an order coming your way in a few weeks! And yes, I'm very excited to be coming back. At the end of te day I never fell in love with te R8, and miss having a true sports car.
  23. Hello folks. I'm not really sure how forums work, so please be gentle with me. This is my first time coming onto car forums as I always assumed they were geeky places full of weirdo's......... Oh wait, that's not right. It's probably the worst kept secret on the forum that I have been on the hunt for a new Zed. I have had a mare selling my VXR8 in this economic climate, so I decided to take a hit and part-ex along with my Pug 406 coupe. I am just finalising a deal on this car MY06 boggo standard with GT pack. Want to say a massive thank you to Toby (EH 370) for the masses of leg work he has done on this for me so far (on his week off no less!) Easiest car buying experience ever. (I'm probably getting ahead of myself as it will be a week or so before everything is finalised and in my possesion - Im just excited!)
