  1. Glad you are ok! Scary sh!t which I have had the misfortune of also been involved in. When I span the R8 back in December, I missed the front of another car by maybe half a foot, and he still didn't stop. People seem to think that if it didnt happen to them, then they can ignore it and not stop. My accident shattered a curb, so far the council have not came knocking for cash to fix it. Police didnt take statements or anything, so as far as I am aware, that will be the end of it.
  2. this is a good pllace to start: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=23843
  3. Many people have. Search is your friend.
  4. If its bling you are after, get the JWT one. It looks better. "Pop charger" is just another term for Induction Kit. They are the same thing.
  5. AEM kits come with a "water sock" which is a fine mesh bag placed over the filter. It allows air through, but not water. I had one fitted to my RX8 donkey's years ago and had no problems with rain etc. If you want better performance from your Zed, induction kits won't do it as even with a cold air feed the K&N will suffer from heat soak. The OEM 06+ air box has been proven to be the most effective
  6. I just got my second Zed which is an 06 facelift, average miles, and only paid £11k from a dealer. Which is about the current market price. I'm afraid your Nismo kit doesnt add £2-3k in value. Sorry to hear you have to sell up, but realistically you are probably looking at just over £11.5k since it does have the kit, and slightly lower than average miles. luck for selling.
  7. Like you, this isn't my first Zed, so they can't be that bad if we keep coming back. And us Monkey Hangers do get around a fair bit. We help keep those French invaders at bay.
  8. FAIL Vik. You have to disable BBCode if you want to show the
  9. As I say, no need to buy a full 06 box (rare as hens teeth) Just get the conversion kit viewtopic.php?f=38&t=50496
  10. You can fit an 06 air box directly onto an 03. OR you can by the conversion kit which "rtbiscuit" now sells. IF you care about power, then change for the standard box. If you prefer to have the noise - which many do. Then leave alone, and K&N is one of the loudest on the market. If you prefer about looks and noise - change to a JWT Intake as it has a blue filter with Chrome lip.
  11. Your wish is my command.... I quite like these. I just sold my VXR8, so I feel your pain about losing the powerful saloon car!
  12. the 114.3 is the distance between studs. if they are standard wheels (ie not the rays) they are the same width all round, so you shouldnt have handling issues associated with them. You will require spiggon rings to reduce the Nissan wheel bore size down to RAV4 bore size.
  13. welcome back. Now get pics of the IS-F up!
  14. Pop charger is just another name for a cone filter intake. So technically, since you are running a K&N Typhoon, you already have a "pop charger" fitted. As you say, they are only for noise. and you lose power due to heat soak. An 06+ air box is by far the best system if you dont want to lose power.
  15. This should help http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html Don't know what the standard offset of a Rav4 wheel is. So I have no idea whether Zed wheels will clear the calipers.
  16. I for one have no idea where Ilson is, and neither does Google maps. So.....if you give us a clue as to where you are, local members may present themselves
  17. There are many answers in the FAQ sections, as well as a great Search function. If they dont help, then ask away.
  18. Same way you clean the rest of the car only on a smaller scale.

  20. Neilp if you understood the situation, you'd know you had no choice. We are fully aware of the colour match on Wasso's car. A good painter is just a good painter. They will still need to order the paint from somewhere else. The kit was arranged to be sprayed on site without his car meaning there was no chance for a colour match. We can only go by the colour code of the car. We had 2 days to do this. Spray 1 day. Fit it the next. Wasso came to us wanting to fit and leave on the same day. The pant mixer had to mix without a sample and nothing to compare with knowing there was a few shades from the same colour code. Wasso's boot was also a different colour compared to the car ad that's not sprayed by us. Even if we did a test there wasn't a car to compare to. We've offered to respray it and it will be done at a later date. If you look at other people who had used our service such as coldel, hadZ and HaydnH you'll find they're happy with our work not to mention black with a metallic flick is much harder to match. Steve we assure you your car is in good hands. It's good to see a trader come on and answer peoples comments in detail. Always 2 sides to a story Oh, and there's a PM coming your way for a full respray soon!
  21. This is a public access forum mate (ie it all shows up on Google!), so you may want to remove your full Reg number
