I assume it is this guide you are using: Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds. Repeat the following two procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds: Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD). Fully release the accelerator pedal. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking. **at this point you need to count the CEL light flashes, think it starts by flashes 10 times slowly to indicate it is beginning then faster for the code. For example if it flashes 10 times slowly, 3 times fast, 2 times fast, 5 times fast 10 times slow then the code would be 325, then just match to the code list. Then if you want to clear the code: Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking) Wait about 10 seconds. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink). Turn ignition switch to OFF position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone. ------------------------------------- Then link to: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=21762
  8. More PM's praising the team than people posting about how they disapprove of our handling. Also Ian - You can ask for us to do something such as locking a thread. And we do take such advice under advisement. However we do not have to act on it. I don't know how many other forums you are on, but I am on almost a dozen that cover cars, and many more for other subjects (yes, I have an inner geek), and this one is easily moderated with the most laid back attitude of them all. Sure you are on forums that are way worse than this one? A certain national car forum/online mag springs instantly to mind.
  9. Deleted your duplicate thread. I'm sure someone will have an answer for you at some point.

Check your brake fluid level. Also, read the code before you complete the ECU reset. Instructions for both are in the guides section.
  11. If it hadn't been for the milage,, this would have been on my list of cars to look at. (before people start going on about milage not being an issue etc etc - for my plans it is) GLWTS dude. Might I suggest you take some pics of the car as it will be when sold - ie with the Rays on it. Might even attract more attention since it will look slightly more standard.
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-NISSAN-3 ... 4aadc1f56e Nismo kit? really?
  13. Been working since 4am you cheeky wee Jock!
  14. Damned if we do damned if we dont. Dont lock something and people moan.....lock something and people moan. The life of a moderator was not sold to me like this Draw a line under it ladies and gents and lets move on. The ban stands, the reasons for the ban stands, the reasons for not locking the announcement stands. No amount of moaning by members past or present is going to change what was done.
  15. Can't win can we. You moan for a thread to be locked, so it gets locked. Dave quickly tag on an explanation to members as to why we left it open in the first place. Then half an hour later we're getting moaned at for locking threads. Can't have it both ways. Anyways, back to work
  16. I feel her pain with regards to US visa's. As a sailor, I have to have a US C1/D visa allowing me to both work on ships in US waters, and to enter/leave US airports. You spend 10 hours sat in the US embassy, going through the number lottery, to finally get all sorted (luckily I was issued a visa), and then when you do land in the US, you spend another 4 hours in some crappy little room whilst they do god knows what checks. You then finally get your docs handed back and allowed in. By this time, the taxi that has been sent for you has fecked off, and your baggage has been destroyed as they suspect its dodgy (ok, not quite - but its normally made its way to some storage room by now and is a pain to get back). Generally, the US suck at visa's. I am going back to the US for a holiday next month, and I am dreading it. Even though I am entering as a tourist on a standard ESTA, I will have to present my passport which has my US visa in it. So God alone knows what crap I am gonna have to go through.
  17. I buy EVO and Top gear, and flick through Banzia and Jap Performance in WHSMith
  18. As has been said above - Stick on vinyl numberplates are technically illegal. Although it is somewhat a gray area - as they are generally used at stupid angles on bonnets etc. My choice would be as Keyser shows (I had this on my last Zed). Just stick down with 2 x 1mm pads, and 2 x 5mm from Halfords.
  19. Crikey, glad to hear you are ok. Having had a similar scary experience in December in the Aussie V8, I know how scary it can be. PS - Moved to the correct place.
  20. Speak to Adam at Z1Auto (trader here). He is based in the US so could supply you one
  21. This post was initially locked at the request of the OP and discussed in the team section prior to a decision being made. It has now been decided to unlock the thread. As with all threads on here though, if it gets out of hand it will be locked.
  22. And if you googled, or searched for CTD on the forum, you will find other pics That spoiler has been discussed before
