  1. Yeah. Normally typed "FOC_Q" Means they can swear without risking getting reported as technically they aint swearing.
  2. +1 always +1 After mine cut my lawn for me, I now always leave it in gear as well I'm sure there was a case a few years ago (on another forum) of a similar thing happening. And basically what was said was that the driver is responsible for taking all measures practical to ensure his/her vehicle remains stationary. ie: handbrake and in gear if it's required. Or finding somewhere flatter to park. Basically, you have no chance of claiming a garage who fitted a cable 18 months ago are at fault. The car will have had an MOT since then, so they could easily claim that some muppet adjusted it or tampered with it or simply knacked it when completely the MOT. Sorry feller.
  3. But who the hell is this Victoria you speak of?
  4. I'm gonna lock this since we've finally figured these have been sold. Can all members please note that this is not the way we would expect members to conduct a sale in future. Whilst there seems to have been some confusion from both sides, it is still a poor transaction and not in the spirit of the club. As I said on a post I edited on the previous page - this is not eBay.
  5. My missus got stuck at work cos the Tees Flyover has been shut most of the day and queues were horrendous. Its been chaos back home by all accounts. For once Im actually glad Im stuck on the boat!
  6. Ive edited your first post to reflect new price. Though in future, should you change the price, you are able to edit the post yourself GLWTS.
  7. First off....that pic is not a pic of a standard underside 350z. Standard cars do not have a True Dual exhaust system. The heat shield on some cars is placed in the recess that the Y-Pipe and cats sit in. This is used to prevent heat transfer into the cabin of the car. I dont believe the Zed has such a thing. The Cats however do have a metal shield around them which is very prone to corrosion, and I could see some garages or dealerships referring to these as heat shields. Here's a pic of the actual underneath of a Zed. The Cats are circled.
  8. sensible price for a Cat-D Nice to see someone actually doing that
  9. Check your battery charge too. Zed's do some damned weird stuff when the battery is on its way out.
  10. The Yellow GT4 is an ex members car. I remember it from when it got the work done up at ESR a few years ago. I think it was sold only recently.
  11. I may even have a car by then!
  12. I'm banned from driving June round there again You did the Duke's Pass again? You should know that like the back of your hand by now Come to think of it we Scots havent done a run through there this year yet! Duke Pass I have done that run in and RX8, MX5, 350z, Civic Type R, and a 1.2 Clio ( ) I think it could be my favourite piece of road in Scotland.
  13. Tardis if you can get hold of it. Otherwise just use persistance to get the thickest of it off, then use either an aggressive clay bar, followed by a polish. PS. Hopefully Karma has proven to you that eyelids are wrong and are remit of the BCB (Bas***dised Corsa Brigade)
  14. The 370 looks like the o/s/r is sinking into the tarmac in the pic
  15. viewtopic.php?f=114&t=38876 That should set you on your way
  16. I spend hours most weeks trapesing through the PH calssifieds. For some reasons I never came across this section: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.a ... =&nodays=0 Whilst I do appreciate time and effort placed into any car project, and the cost limitation many people have. I just can't fail to be amazed at the epicly horrendous creations some people make.
  17. Guide in workshop manual. There is a a link kicking around on the forum somewhere.
