  1. I'll give you £2.50 and a packet of Chewits for it..... Seriously though, your car is worth what someone will pay. It's not difficult to go on Pistonheads or Autotrader and see what the value of similar non Cat-C cars are, then knock 30-40% off that price.

A LS1 conversion using a GTO/Monaro as a donor is very doable, and there are conversion kits available from the US. 380bhp standard, 440 bhp with new cam, headers, exhaust and EFI-live.
  3. put some pics up of the wheel, we may be able to offer you an informed(ish) opinion. If its just a bent lip, then it will likely be repairable. Ive the wheel itself is buckled, then it will be a new one. Are they standard 18"'s or standard Rays? If so, you should be able to pick up the former for £60ish for one, and the later for £100 for one.
  4. Well, the prize for most random first post goes to........ Pot holes need to be a certain size before it is possible to claim against the council claiming negligence and improper maintenence of a roadway. You would have to take pics, and then be able to prove it was that pot hold that caused the damage. Believe me, you are better off just sorting it out of your own pocket.
  5. Just typical nissan stealer prices. What it all boils down too - Your pads are worn, but it would still pass an MOT with them Your discs have some corrosion (pitting) occuring. Without seeing a pic, I couldnt tell you if it would pass MOT or not. Rear bush shot. Common thing on older Zeds. Alex does them pretty cheaply, and a local independant garage would be able to fit for you pretty cheaply too. All in all, the dealer is charging you for parts and for labour. Both at a much higher rate than you can source the parts yourself and get an independant to fit.
  6. Use the window reset procedure in the Guides sub forum

You're asking on the wrong forum really mate. Since no-one here has done it. As I say, go over to my350z and do some reading, then contact Abbey Motorsport and see what Mark has to say about it. In all honesty, unless you happen to have an engine and gearbox sat at home already you would probably be better just getting a TT kit for the 350 if its just power you are after.

You'd need a mounting kit, all the RB256 ancilleries (rad, intercooler, fueling etc etc) And you would a suitable gearbox. So far as I know, the VQ gearbox wouldnt come close to fitted a RB. I would suggest doing some serious reading over on my350z.com as it has already been done over there.
  9. Most insurance companies will allow an extra driver to be insured for a max of 30 days per year on a policy. The more days insured for, the cheaper it works out (yiou pay the admin fee each time). I used to insure Rich for the week we went to Le Mans each year. It worked out at £60 for the week. They'll likely charge you that for the single day for a young girl, but hey, it's her birthday!
  10. Thread tidied at request of OP. Interested parties should contact seller via PM. Any negative comments will be removed.
  11. You didnt search very well then. This link http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/165-aus ... track.html was from the 3rd picture that appeared in Google images when typing "HSD COILOVERS 350Z"
  12. I know of 2 members who have had these fitted "docwra" and "Polo". Most coilovers would drop your car onto it's ar** if you adjust them low enough. Depends what you want

Don't mean to be a pain, but this is turning into a swap/sale thread. And unfortunately it doesnt conform to the forum rules for sales/swaps. You need to put up the pics of the items with your forum username clearly written in each picture. As such, I am locking this thread. Sorry mate, but rules are rules and all that
  14. 70mph, and your speedo was under-reading
  15. My bad! Been a long day
  16. We do a Boxing Day dip down here most years. The Round Table (of which I am a member of) have taken over organisation of it from 2012 so I no longer have to go in!
  17. Probably didnt want the possibility of KW having a go at them since they license a K3 product
  18. Glad to see an owner getting something out of NMGB Enjoy the new car feeling
  19. Did it ever occur to either of you that the OP PM'd the team explaining his response, and offering his apologies if he came across as hot headed, but that he was simply frustrated that his first thread here got dragged off topic within 3 posts? Now can we kindly keep this on topic as I have already tried to do once. If you can't keep to that, I will clean up the entire thread and remove all the banter posts. It's something I would prefer not to do though, as this sit eis well known for its well natured and friendly banter.
  20. I've been through the logs, and no-one has deleted a post by you on this thread.
  21. Im sure she would understand...............after she has panned your heid in.
  22. It's a HKS replica. And people have also had issues with JapSpeed exhausts not fitting, not just the ones on ebay you refer too
  23. Phil, They were bantering against themselves, not against you. It's a regular contest between a few forum members, and just something to get used to. and nowhere near as bad as you will find on many forums. At no point did I see them try to drag you into it or insult you, so please don't take it personally. The VQ35DE engine is pretty solid up to around 400bhp (which is where the associated torque generated kills the internals. 360 on a stock motor is easily achievable with the right modifications. The cheapest route would be for a S/C set up which could be dont for a little over £6k if you are not stingy. But it can be done for less if you do the work yourself and sourxe the best price items. A TT kit would be around £8-10k depending. Vortec, GTM, and HKS are the main s/c kits. GTM also do a turn key TT kit which is supposed to be pretty good. My recommendation would be to call Abbey Motorsport and have a chat with Mark there about exactly what it is you want from the car. He will be able to point you in the right direction, and get you prices for kits and fitting.
  24. It's bigger than most garden sheds!
