    Hey everyone!

Might I suggest you start by viewing the FAQ section of the forum before you start asking such generic questions about what to look for. These topics have been asked and answered many times, and we have a buyers guide too. What to look for very much depends on the MY car you plan to purchase, which in turn depends on what your budget is. A bit more info from yourself, and we can give you some more advice.

    Varrstoens are on

That looks like some stretch on the on the rears!
  4. White is alot rarer colour, it was only introduced to the Uk cars in 2008 (I was actually the first owner of a UK spec white Zed). A quick look on autotrader shows that the ones of same age milages etc that are cheaper are either roadsters (awful time of year to try and sell a soft top) or they don't have the GT pack. 2 of them from dealers seem ok, but like any car you wouldn't know until you went to look at them.
  5. I think that's pretty fairly priced considering the low milage and age.
  6. GTM do a s/c kit for the HR car. A member recently had one fitted and mapped by Abbey Motorsport, so I would suggest giving Mark at Abbey a ring. You can't get all that much power out of a Zed over stock without going the FI route. If you get a DE and spend money on plenum spacer, HFC's, Exhaust, remap then you would only be just around the power level of a HR engined car. The HR engine doesnt require a plenum spacer. the rest of the kit fits Zeds across the range.
  7. It's down to £9250 but I am sure Jim would take £10k if you twisted his arm It's officialy a steal
  8. For £10k you wont get a much better value car than Doogyrevs (Jim's).
  9. This is a well known fix, and if you had speant 10 mins searching the forums you would have found numerous threads on it It's a sign of the motor on the way out when this happens. ZMANALEX or R35LEE will be able to provide replacements.
  10. My parents are taxi drivers, and we just got shot of the 04 plate Mondeo that had 298,500 miles on it. It was still going strong.....right up until the point it got swamped in a flood and the engine hyro-locked and blew the bottom end off.
  11. Look at the guide I recently stickied in this forum
  12. There are MANY threads about this lack of sound. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=57000 is one of them. There is another one directly after that in the list.
  13. I doubt it....look at his location
  14. Hmmmm....I'd be interested to know how they got that to work.
  15. JDM sat-nav doesn't work in the UK, and can't be adapted to work in the UK either. So if you have a sat-nav fitted, it's aftermarket fitted by a previous owner and the Nissan book won't help you.
  16. You can edit the original post yourself by all means, nothing to stop you doing that. But the thread will disappear until such time a mod/admin is online to approve the edit. I know it can be a bit of a pain, but we do it this way to best protect buyers
  17. I'll save you some hassle here......the JDM cars don't have a clock
  18. The thread only disapears when you edit the original post. Something which I know you have done a few times. the way the code works, is when you edit the original post it defaults to the point that it thinks the thread is asking for approval. Subsequent posts made by you or a potential buyer do not cause the thread to be hidden. The new posts do not become visable until they are approved.
  19. Do it the easy way mate. Trust me, just part-ex and forget about it.
  20. Never had one but I believe it just slots into the cradle Have a search on here, you need to take quite a bit of trim off from the boot to get the strut out, if you manage it without taking a layer of skin off all your fingers then well done Beat you this time
  21. If you have both bits, then its a case of laying the adapter flat on the cradle so that wee fin bit presses down, then push the adapter towards the back of the car.
  22. Ok.....so you see that cradle in the armrest? It needs to have a "bluetooth adapter" fitted. They look like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gen-Nissan-35 ... 5ae3578b88 (don't pay that price though! They come up on here regular for sale for less). See the pics on the first post here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=57393&start=15 Once that's in, you can use the Bluetooth system by pairing your phone
  23. Not very often we hear the Bose system described as being excellent. lol. Alloys cost around £50 each to be refurbed. What's the issue with the phone? Do you have the Bluetooth adapter in the cradle in the arm rest?
