    Quick Wash

Leaves the wheels alone! They are my old ones!
  2. Just so you are aware - That car is a JDM import. (it says it in the ad, just wanted to be sure you had spotted it) There are no UK cars on a 52 plate
  3. That's what I thought too Neil. Think it's about 950 when cold on initial start-up. Then drops to 750.
  4. A cold engine idles at a higher rpm. Once the engine has warmed through, the idle will lower. It's not a fault.
  5. They are not "banned". Please do not try to insinuate that the moderators are employing somekind of censorship against you. They can all be found in the Green Room here: viewforum.php?f=141 This place is accessable by all members. Should Stew's off-topic threads (this one) degenerate into utter drivel then this thread will find itself in the Green Room also. Hell, Stew would put it there himself.
  6. There is a worrying large contingent of owners that live in Aberdeen! Plenty of folks near you that you can get involved with
  7. £7250 after a good haggle would be a good price if its got the FSH and been well looked after with no niggles.
  8. Play nice gents. Gotta admire a guys enthusiasm in whatever it is he drives. However.... I agree with you all. I've also worked on ships built by Hyundai - I would never, ever want to own one.
  9. Re-opened. Should anything come of this, you will be required to Pay a traders fee as you are charging for a service
  10. As Colin says, the day before there is a Nissan owners club day that we have an invite too. Following the link Colin gave for info. Then PM me your details If you want to go.
  11. How F**king Much?! I don't care what kit it has to make it look like, it's still an 82k mile Celica!
  12. Nope, Scorpion has slashed tips.
  13. Exactly what I was thinking.
  14. Go out onto your drive with a torch. Lay down behind your front wheel. Look at the sill ridge under the car. You will see 2 x "dimples" in the sill metal. Between these 2 points is the jacking point. And these are exactly where garage lifts go.
  15. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=47176 Have a read through this thread. Done by many people, and sound quality if pretty good by all accounts. Only other way is a new head unit.
  16. I think Tarmac can get hold of the kits in some colours.
  17. My dislike of the NHS is well documented within my family after my ex-fiance almost died in 2009. My solution - Bupa. Granted, it costs yet more money on top of NI payment, but the NHS is something I will never be able to change. By paying for Bupa, I've managed to at least take some control of my own health car.
  18. But I really like this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3806357.htm
  19. Speaking of which, you wanna come out tonight, Midnight run ?
  20. The perforation waranty has nothing to do with the servicing. There is a seperate part of the service book for "paintwork inspection" this must be kept up to date
  21. Thats BS mate. The finance companies say that. But what they really mean is the keys can't change hands until the money has been paid. Basicaly you pay the finance company the outstanding balance over the phone, and give the owner the difference. You then have the keys and own the car.
