  1. The link to the original location for this dies a while back. So below is what Nissan dealers use as a check sheet when servicing your 350z. Also available via this link: http://metafaq.nissan.co.uk/resources/n ... 190605.pdf
  2. Oh why don't I leave my 2p worth too Smudge - yet another one of your threads you have requested to be locked or deleted. This should maybe tell you something, and you should think very strongly about the content you are about to post in future. Why you would think it is a good idea to post about racing on public roads on an open public forum is beyond me. And the banter you have rcvd in response has probably helped you more than you know. This is an open forum, google search can read any of the posts. Not hard for police to use it. There have been members from various car clubs in past 5 years who have had evidence from car forums submitted against them in court. As dan said earlier, go read the prison diary on PH. They used foprum evidence to throw the book at him. Oh, and I did buy my Zed to go to the shops......it was my only car, and thus had to use it to go to the shops.... In answer to your question though.... Yeah, it'll be exhaust and heat shield cooling down.
  3. Strips of 1mm M3 tape to stick it on with. It'll be an absolute bugger to get back off no matter how you fix it, but with M3 tape it can be removed from both bumper and diffuser afterwards.
  4. Looks too "stuck on" in my opinion. if the 2 side where more shaped into the rear bumper it would likely be ok. but a its stands it looks pretty crap. Sorry.
  5. Sad times Vik....but you'll be back one day!
  6. medium claybar was used to get paint of my Zed when the council helpfully tried to paint it blue
  7. Keep at it Squee. For the price you paid, for something that you're turning into a track toy....it doesn't really matter if it 'appears dodgy' as all these folks are saying. Youve found the guy on the V5 and he knows who he sold it too and they confirm it. So you've traced the sale line, so you know it's not stolen. You're just buying from a lazy git. I'm going to view an n/a SWB next week (from the 300zx forum).
  8. And as Ian says. A Chevvy LS2 outta the crate is 400bhp. New cam, better exhaust, OTRCAI, and an efi-live map will see 450bhp+ The LS3 outta the box is 440bhp ish. And is ultimately much easier to get big big power out of. And relatively for not alot of money.
  9. technically no such car It's a HSV Clubsport R8 in Oz (notice the lack of the Holden title - since HSV stands for Holden Special Vehicles). In the UK it was marketed at the Vauxhall VXR8. The VXR brand is UK specific.
  10. Clicky Axle. Well documented problem with the Zed. Either search (best to use google -include "350z-uk" in your search field) as the sites search function is borked at the moment). Or Look in the guides section as their is a detailed thread on how to fix it. ZMANALEX sells full repair kits.
  11. You are already asking about this in another thread. Locking this.

    VQ35HR - mods

Performance panel filters, HFC'S, UpRev remap, full SuperPro polly bushes all round, coilovers, better tyres, uprated discs/pads, braided clutch and brake lines. That's just off the top of my head.
  13. And how do you plan on getting it to Nissan? You can't exactly roll/drive it onto a low loader. Nissan will charge you a small fortune for "abnormal recovery". May as well speak to Falcon and compare prices. Seriously, I can't stress enough how much I advise against taking your car to any Nissan dealership in the North East - especially Evans Halshaw. I have extensive experience with many of the franchises in and around the NE, and the only one I trust is in Willington which is even further from you than M'Boro.
  14. You don't mean Evans Halshaw Nissan next to DFS on the A1231 do you Jesus. They're useless. Seriously. Call Falcon Performance in M'boro. They have lots of experience with Zeds.
  15. Falcon Performance in Boro. Failing that, I 'may' have some free time at the weekend and I can pop up and help
  16. They actually eat badger in China, so the pelts are a by-product of the meat packing industy. They are alos hunted as Mark says. This is due to their over-population in many areas of Asia.
  17. The OP doesn't say if he did or didn't take the cap off. You are insulting him based on your own assumptions.
  18. Yeah, and I'm looking right at you when I get that exact impression. If you aren't capable of posting something useful, then don't. The OP asked for advice, not for comments on his abilities.
  19. ....and the world rejoices.
