  1. Just spotted Amy showing off her FTO.
  2. Put in a known amount of compressed air into a cylinder (known pressure). Measure how much leaks out over a set period of time.
  3. Atkins are nearby (Malton). Falcon are in Boro.
  4. I never sat in a Pre 07 car. But I'm 6ft 3" with a 34" inside leg and fit comfortable in my HR car. I'm not built like the preverbal outhouse but I am wide across the shoulder.
  5. Putting tape over the km/h and changing for mph is a method many importer uses when they change the clocks over to read miles. Much cheaper than a new cluster. Easy way to check. Use a sat Nav to measure one mile travelled. Compare with odo at start and finish.
  6. It's the old debate really. Stock airbox for show or Induction kits for show.
  7. Google Images has.
  8. Oh, and IIRC, the Nismo one was just a rebranded AEM one.
  9. Yep. Comes with shields. Like ALL short ram induction kits, you will get heat soak. But not enough for your Butt Dyno to spot a difference.
  10. I fitted a Nismo dual I take. Tool about 90 mins (including coffee break). Skinned a couple of knuckles, but that's about it. The Nismo creates a nice induction noise.
  11. MG TA Tickford Tourer from late 30's
  12. You buy one Paul....then I it loses value like most the cars you buy, I'll know not to get one!
  13. I'd buy a completely stock HR and keep it that way and use it as a daily driver. It'd remind me of what I used to have and where I'm from.
  14. Still one of my fav cars on the forum. :thumb:
  15. There's actually next to feck all difference between a P2 and P3. But as said above, if your plugs haven't been changed, then get that done. I don't know of any reliable independants down your way. Someone may be along to help with that shortly.
  16. Many of you know I have a thing for yank V8's. As such, I want this. Badly. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/chevrolet/corvette/chevrolet-corvette-1977/1119375 The annoying thing is it's not like when looking at the £70k stingrays and knowing it's a pipedream at best. This one is easily attainable. So a kidney has to go. Or.....I wonder if my wife would notice if one of the twins was no longer around?...

Buy a Manual NA and do a single Turbo conversion I considered buying an auto TT and doing a 6 speed conversion but both conversions end up costing more than just buying the manual at the start. Most people say the auto box is much better than the manual though I did alot of research into them back in 2008 when my ex was wanting one. I was told the same about the Auto box. Many seemed to prefer them due to the sheer wall of acceleration. I still wouldn't have an auto box though. I'm tempted by an NA as a hobby car. They can be picked up for £2500.
  18. If you car has been serviced annually since 2004 your service should be a P1 (minor). 2005 - P1 2006 - P2 2007 - P1 2008 - P3 (this is the expensive one) 2009 - P1 2010 - P2 2011 - P1 2012 - P3 2013 - P1

  21. Yeah, but the UK mustang will only have the engine out of a Focus ST.
  22. Pack things in and around the spare wheel under the boot tray. It's amazing what you can fit in there.
  23. Give jurgen a call or email (number on their website) and see what he can do.
  24. There's a place just over the bridg from you in Rosyth. I'll be driving past it tomorrow and will get you the places name.
