This is a very odd request for ideas/issues. I have an engine, trans and ECM (VQ35DE Rev-up) that I'd like to swap into a restomod Volvo 1800ES. Physically, although a challenge, I can make the engine fit and can strengthen the rear end to accommodate the huge increase in power from the VQ. The issue I'm hearing is the complexity of the ECU. I guess it's not simple, as I understand, even into another vintage 350Z. I think it would be an awesome engine for the car.... My question is, does anyone know of a company that makes this integration into a completely different car possible? Thanks to anyone responding/helping.
