I thought it might be that Keith, but there is no liner on rear wheel arches. Perhaps someone will jump in and correct me. Hopefully, have a dry weekend soon so can have a proper look and see if there is anywhere obvious where a liner, if it should be there, would attach. I’d quite like to remove entirely but experience has taught me that everything is there for a reason and normally I just haven’t figured out what it is.

Am a new 350z owner. Have beginnings of bubbling in nearside rear, and more established bubbling at from nearside front . Took rear wheels off today and noticed that grit etc was being held under the band, which had lifted. The offside band was still fully attached but I could see the beginnings of issue. Not sure what the band is for other than to smooth out a thin edge to help prevent rust, though it is actually now causing the problem. Was contemplating removing it, in order that I can ensure full coverage with Kurust and then add either lanoguard type product of stone chip. Have read a previous post that, unlike the front, there is not a complete plastic cover for the rear, though there is a gap between the arch and the cover is causing the issue at the front. the attached photo is before I ran a braddle fully underneath and realised it was a band which was loose. thanks in advance for responses.

Hi there the lid cluster cubby on 08 HR is discoloured. Looked at replacing but only available on import. has anyone tried to detach the cover. There are four small screws, two on either side which lifts the front. However can get more than a few mm out of it. Before I wedge something in and prize apart, thought would reach out. may attempt a plain wrap.
