  1. Righto. 9.5 on the front, but it'll have to be 10" on the rear that's the widest they do JR21s 🫠
  2. Thanks Andy. I think I'm getting lost on width & offset. So I think 19x10 ET20 (275/35) with 15mm spacer will be golden, at least for the rears. Then 19x9 ET20 5mm spacer (245/35) 🫡
  3. Any of you knowledgeable people able to help guide me in a purchase of a set of JR21s? I found this Z and I strive for the same fitment and the glorious concave cavernous width of the 19x11s. Alas, 11" width has been discontinued. Rim calculators suggest it could be a fairly noticeable difference, and we all know an inch can make the difference. Thoughts & opinions?
  4. Couple of weeks away yet, but are there any plans for a convoy on the day? I live 10 minutes from the circuit so I could be there as early as 7:00, if I can convince my wife 💀
  5. I was considering these as well. But as they are essentially plastic, the entire rear quarter will have to come out which is welded. Then the new panel bonded or riveted on. As I only had a little bit coming through, it would be cheaper to cut and fabricate a new piece in. Depends how far gone yours are? If there's rust through both skins and you just want it gone and to never return - plastic will never rust.
  6. Might be worth a deeper look in the FSM, I had a quick gander and there's some troubleshooting steps that may help point you in the right direction. Factory Service Manuals - NICOclub (page GW21 onward)
  7. I've had a quote for £320 yesterday, last year was £350. Bone stock, and I'm 27. 5k annual mileage, full comp, legal, windscreen, breakdown, courtesy, £250 excess, 10 years no claims. Anyone else getting wildly low insurance rates?
  8. Any K-line (DDL2) OBII adapter should work. Something like this: VAG K + CAN Commander Full 1.4 OBDII Diagnostic Tool for Audi / VW(Blue) KKL OBD2 USB Interface Cable FTDI FT232RL Chip for 3rd Party Software & Apps | eBay
  9. This the sort of thing you're after? NDS II – Windows PC - Nisscan
  10. Ollie Price x 1 club ticket + x 1 Passenger ticket (no track time) First Japfest with the Z, looking forward to it 🤗
  11. Assuming those brake pads are OE, you can get them cheaper from torqen. I had a used steering rack installed a couple weeks ago along with new track rod ends and it came to ~£400. Are you doing the work at a dealership?
  12. Hi all, I have noticed with this terrible weather the past couple of weeks I have sprung a leak around the door seals. Water comes through the top of the weather strip on the driver's side and wees in my lap. There's a noticeable gap where water ingresses through. Passenger side is fairing a little worse and appears to be leaking in a similar place but is making it's way down into the carpet. Any idea where I can find these parts?
  13. Hi all, just wanted to hi! I got my 04.5 DE zed back in Jan and I am very much infatuated with it. 65k miles, 2 owners, squeaky clean MOT, FSH and stock minus a Milltech Cat-back, this has been a dream of mine for a very long time. But I'm not done, over the next year (or 5 😅) I've got some plans in the works and a long list of mods, but before I get invested she's going in for rust protection and to sort out the crusty bushes. I'll be sure to update my progress as it happens (Bonus NSFW photo)
  14. Hi and welcome! My 04 DE hangs a little on upshifts and I did a little research a couple weeks ago. As far as I found it's generally common/normal, people suggest it's the nature of e-throttle, or to help with smoother changes or even emissions. General consensus is a lighter flywheel will solve it As far as the high idle goes, try this 350z Reset proceedure (Pedal Dance) – Horsham Developments (h-dev.co.uk)
  15. I'm very new to the zed world, bought my first only 2 weeks ago. I did a bucket load of research into reliability, running/maintenance costs and general issues - a lot of it mentioned in this thread. I ended up with a 60k miles 2004 DE for £9.5k. It's got some bits needing doing, mainly a tiny bit of paint herpes on one arch and a wheel refurb but that's really about it. Tax is £350 and insurance is £340, which surprised me entirely - cheaper than my 06 VRS Fabia. Most expensive part is fuel but that's a me thing 😂
