  1. It's not looking very lively in here nowadays but I'm going to start a slow thread as I begin to make progress on my Z. Throwback to Jan 2024 - 65k miles and bone stock. Now sitting at 78k miles and slightly more rust. Since then it's had more age-related repairs than mods: steering rack, fan pack, tie rods etc. Safe to say I have become a frequent annoyance to ZMANALEX 🙏 Starting small, in Feb 2025 I took the headliner and centre console out and sprayed them both black. Used a textile dye for the headliner called Fabricoat from Amazon. Finished product looked good but it took almost a week to dry inside my house and it is STANKY. Console was just a Halfords special. Also wired in an aux cable mod into the tape deck, then mounted a 3.5mm jack inside the cubby behind the handbrake. I've never been a fan of aftermarket headunits, they just look out of place. Also had to replace the notorious amplifier relay which was cutting out. Then a couple of months later I picked up some 20mm & 25mm spacers from TORQEN. I'd recommend a set of spacers even if you don't do any other visual mods, it makes the car look how it should have from factory. Very minor thing but I sparkled my exhaust tips just before Japfest 25'. Was hoping to go again this year but tickets were gone by the time I checked. I'll be in the peasant park with the Fiesta STs 😔 Now for the centrepiece. I had wanted a Charge Speed rear bumper before I even owned a 350z and so I set about finding a replica as genuine brand-new ones are £1.5k without paint or the carbon diffuser. Found one but it's been in storage for a year whilst I figure out what to do with it. Fast-forward to this weekend and I found a genuine Kuro black CS bumper on Ebay that's 15 minutes from my house. Had to be done, no regrets. I now own two CS bumpers. Fitment is 98% there, as soon as the weather allows I'll go back in there and tighten up the gaps. Then it's onto the next battle. Diff bushings & clutch 😟
  2. Here is my Chargespeed Rep bumper I bought a year ago from a well-known reputable 350z parts site. It's FRP and unfinished so it'll need prep, fitment and paint. I had full intentions to get this fitted over summer but the stars aligned and I found a genuine bumper on ebay painted in my colour already. So now I have two CS bumpers. I've listed it on ebay for £450 but I'll offer a discount to £375 for the forum. Collection only from NN13. I can confirm it will fit inside a 5 door 2016 Micra if that helps planning in anyway 😅
  3. FSM suggests core support and maybe side stays need to come off.
  4. So I guess garage envy is a thing 😆 Years ago now I worked as a designer for a company that did garage fit-outs. Stuff like: wall storage, PVC tile flooring & ceiling, tool cabinets, lighting etc would easily fetch for £20k+. They looked great, but I could never justify spending THAT much on a garage. Found some renders & couple of install photos
  5. Welcome! Lovely looking Z my dude. I know there's a Torqen meet in August but more are posted on Facebook nowadays.
  6. Righto. 9.5 on the front, but it'll have to be 10" on the rear that's the widest they do JR21s 🫠
  7. Thanks Andy. I think I'm getting lost on width & offset. So I think 19x10 ET20 (275/35) with 15mm spacer will be golden, at least for the rears. Then 19x9 ET20 5mm spacer (245/35) 🫡
  8. Any of you knowledgeable people able to help guide me in a purchase of a set of JR21s? I found this Z and I strive for the same fitment and the glorious concave cavernous width of the 19x11s. Alas, 11" width has been discontinued. Rim calculators suggest it could be a fairly noticeable difference, and we all know an inch can make the difference. Thoughts & opinions?
  9. Couple of weeks away yet, but are there any plans for a convoy on the day? I live 10 minutes from the circuit so I could be there as early as 7:00, if I can convince my wife 💀
  10. I was considering these as well. But as they are essentially plastic, the entire rear quarter will have to come out which is welded. Then the new panel bonded or riveted on. As I only had a little bit coming through, it would be cheaper to cut and fabricate a new piece in. Depends how far gone yours are? If there's rust through both skins and you just want it gone and to never return - plastic will never rust.
  11. Might be worth a deeper look in the FSM, I had a quick gander and there's some troubleshooting steps that may help point you in the right direction. Factory Service Manuals - NICOclub (page GW21 onward)
  12. I've had a quote for £320 yesterday, last year was £350. Bone stock, and I'm 27. 5k annual mileage, full comp, legal, windscreen, breakdown, courtesy, £250 excess, 10 years no claims. Anyone else getting wildly low insurance rates?
  13. Any K-line (DDL2) OBII adapter should work. Something like this: VAG K + CAN Commander Full 1.4 OBDII Diagnostic Tool for Audi / VW(Blue) KKL OBD2 USB Interface Cable FTDI FT232RL Chip for 3rd Party Software & Apps | eBay
  14. This the sort of thing you're after? NDS II – Windows PC - Nisscan
