  1. Spotted yesterday at the end of the Runway at John Wayne International Airport, Orange County, CA So now you know where all you shiney go faster bits come from
  2. You are right Ian Old Bose are only useful for the spare parts like the cd loading mechanism.
  3. The dealer down the road has the GT Premium for $38k . . . thats £20k to you lot Although I think it looks nice, I sat in a 2013 Mustang and the driving position was a little squ-whiff . . so i hope that have sorted that on this model
  4. PM one of the Traders, I got mine from Zmanalex many moons ago
  5. Got the remaining two sides done today . . just the back an the inside to do Thats about all I am going to have time to do for the next month as its travel time again But at least the bits I have done won't get any more rust on for those with a keen eye you will have spotted some pitting, this will all be revisited at a later date. Pretty pleased how its going so far . . slow I know Rather than just paint the bulk of it black, having the polished ends and some of the bolt faces will break it up a bit
  6. I was going to suggest TSW, although I seem to remember some Antera wheels from the 80's that looked like this Have a search for Antera 101, seems a fairly close match

  8. More done this evening . . . Getting the top ready for priming Hopefully get both sides completed tomorrow, which will leave the end that is currently fixed to the stand and the inside. I think since that not really going to be seen I will the use the remaining Truck Bed Lining I have laying about
  9. Very nice Dan . . . Still looks like a parrot
  10. Managed to get some more prepping done this morning, since I am doing this in stages I will prep and prime one section at a time just to stop any rust creeping in to some of the nooks and crannies. I also came across a neat trick from a video on you tube (will look for it later) when masking up something like a block, apply tape then with a small hammer tap the tape on the edge and it will just peel away. no cutting with a knife required . . every day is a school day Top and sides next Thats all for now, thanks for looking
  11. Well done everyone, looking forward to tomorrow's instalment
  12. Well seeing as you are putting updates on prices....... ....... I will just leave this here $0.82 CAD per ltr
  13. Sorry to hear this Chris I know someone who had one and I think it was 6-7 weeks before they started to get back to normal, but its a slow process in the beginning and also how your Dad is affected by the surgery itself. Everyone is different. I agree with George, go see your dad for as long as you can, at least if you are there for when he has the op or when he is due to come out of hospital you can help him when he may need you most. Also since he is in the US I believe the healthcare system is there to provide after care as well. Might depend on his cover though, also worth checking out. I wish him well and a speedy recovery
  14. You are not alone Darren . . I can't make it either Hopefully there will be plenty of updates by the time I get up
  15. Have you got one of these too . . . http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hurst-Jaws-Of-Life-MOC-Combo-Tool-/301471633818
  16. Wow this thread is . . umm something Why don't you just add the amount of tax remaining to the sale price of the car, that way you get all your money back and the new owner gets a car that is taxed for x amount of months. Every car I sold in the UK, I did the above since I can be arsed to deal with the DVLA . . No Tax to deal with here
