You don't need a tape in there, just use a the non pointy end of a biro to push the mechanism in, it will stay in as long as you don't push the eject button

I think thats normal with the Falkens for the first few hundred miles Mine were exactly the same. Its the release agent and they have to bed in a bit, from my experience. My normal drive to work felt very odd just after they were fitted. Give it some miles and report back

I would call asking for the name of the person who deals with becoming a distributed or reseller, if they put you through all well and good, if not you will have the details to email or write to them. They should in any case tell you the correct procedure, some companies have different ways of applying
