I remember when the Big Issue sellers were actually homeless.... now they dress better than me, and have a free house on the tax payer. Benefits should be enough to just survive in my book, thus giving the incentive to get a job and earn your living. The other week I was sitting having lunch in London, watching the world go by, and there was a chap scrounging fags, he was not dressed out of the ordinary, in the 40 or so minutes he must have got 20-30 people to give him fags, so he then comes in to the restaurant I was in ordered a large coffee - £3.20, and a sandwich about £4.50. So when I left he badgered me for a smoke "bugger off and buy your own" was the retort he got, he then preceded to lecture me on how he was homeless, his benefits did not cover the cost of living, and that he had not eaten for 3 days, I said "you have just been in that restaurant and had some food, and I bet you have a house and all"..........the answer I got was......... "P1ss off mate, your wasting my time, I have twits to scrounge off"

I'm assuming the move to Canada isn't going as swiftly as planned either. Jims move is going as planned so far as I am aware. It can take 6-12 months for a Canadian visa to be approved for residency Its out of our hands now, all the paperwork is done ..... just a waiting game now, but things could be moving quicker than expected
