  6. IIRC this was introduced to stop car jacking and such like when you stop at lights. I think all Merc's, Audi's, Beemer's have it as standard now.
  7. I am sure I read on a US forum that changing to a stubby will affect the satnav reception. Would be worth a go for the price of a stubby IMO
  8. Just ask the MOT tester to road test the car, rather than putting it on the rolling road. Thats what I did and I was more than happy for him to go for a spin round the block. If he was a 19yr old trainee on the other hand I would have taken my car else where

  12. SPOT ON SARNIE Agreed. It's obvious myself, Sarnie, jay and a few others are on the same wavelength. + 10000000 No matter how much I offered for Mrs DoogyRrev to take my car out..... she never really wanted to. I think she drove it once or twice. Was I worried when she did... not really. @ Sarnie - I would have suitably rewarded you as well if you had ever let me drive your Lambo
  13. Are these ARBS Zedman is selling as good as you say they are Ian? I was getting concerned that I messed all mine up by widening the car in the manor that I have. 18"rays 20mm spacers all round Bridgestone 050a 18/35/245 on the front ". ". ". " 18/35/275 on the rear. I really need to make a decision fast and is the Arb fitment something I could do myself? Thanks Peter You can do it your self, but a much better option is to Buy some Donuts and go visit the Zed Shed
  14. +1 I had a 25/20 set up on my Zed and really did not notice any handling difference
