I'm hopefully picking up a Z soon and I plan to keep it for the foreseeable future. Rust is a concern of mine so I'd like to get it properly dealt with. Rustbuster and South West Rust Proofing keep popping up in my, albeit limited, searches. Does anyone have any experience with either of them? If not, any other recommended places or suggestions?

Appreciate it. What's the damage for a rear subframe? Would you recommend getting the car undersealed with something like Dinitrol?

Really? They look awful. I sent a few photos to a mechanic and they agree. Does every Z look like this? Would you say poor condition for a 2008 50,000 mile 350Z or is this pretty standard rust?

My mate thinks it's been in an accident. My other mate thinks it's just @*!# factory welds. Your opinion? Welds: Rust:

The chip shortage is going to continue through 2022 and even possibly 2023 so waiting isn't an option unfortunately. Even so, I don't think after a few months we'll see much change in prices.

Thanks. I'm noticing nearer the lines of 9-12k for HR and 7-9k for DE but maybe that's just due to my specific criteria. What are some small details that add significant value to a 350Z?
