Ta for that, I've never thought to do a flush just always did just an oil change. Watched your PCV video so won't be ordering a aftermarket one. In my video the Aircon fan was running, sounds like a jet

@Jack94 ta for the advise bud. I will do. I've always used Mann filters so along with that I'll throw in 5w30, fully Synthetic I presume. I'll do the air filter and spark plugs. Do you have any recommendations? NGK have great reviews. @Eddie_r32 will post a video of the car running and looks to be dence white smoke on startup and when you rev it above 3k fully warm. The Coolant level is right on max mark. I heard gurgling behind the dash which worried me as I'm sure there is a air trapped. I'll turn the bleed screw open and top the expansion tank. In regards to spares and help, the site and members all seem helpful, knowledgeable and kind so hopefully are ok with my noob questions and standard car. I aim to get it running right and passing a MOT which I was going to do this week but will hold off and might take the plenum off and check the PCV value and give it a clean.

If it's something major I think that there is scope for repairs and I still would be at what rough ones are priced at. Yeah the finish is good on mine but kerbed along the edges, I bought anthracite paint pen, it comes out blue rather than grey so I must have gun metal grey or something. I'll sort them when I change the tyres. Appreciate you comments and time. -
Ta for your kind words bud. The MOT history on a 60k car was odd reading. Lots of tyres perishing and cords showing. It has four mixed matching tyres two premium and two ditch finders, all dated 2019/20. I will be placing four matching set but the white smoke has me spooked. I noticed it had some mishimoto fans but on standard radiator so my fear is that the originals failed and might have cooked the engine so that coolant is getting into the cylinder/s. But let's see I'll continue to polish and clean until my bubble is popped.

I bought this last Friday and ordered a W brace online from Ultraracingshop who shipped it super fast and it cost me £175 delivered (sale price and a further 5% off as I left it in my basket over night 😉) the last MOT gave an advisory so it had to be done I swapped it out struggled with one bolt which would not thread. The old brace was rotten Washed, clayed and T cut the paintwork most of the panels which has come out well Dropped another £15 Vpower as I am a tad worried about some white smoke from the exhaust. It's on startup I've only had the car running 15 in total so hopefully it clears up otherwise it's not such a bargain. The seller was in his 60's and a city type and was very honest. So fingers crossed.

This thread is going to be simple mods and progress with my cheapish 350z. Sorry it's not super duper but I'm on a budget and I'll try to keep a record of my progress and anyone who's interested. I've got dyslexia (had to spell check that) so apologies for my bad grammar and odd style of writing. So it begins, like you I've always loved the 350z since I first saw one (sunset orange). I have seen this 350z parked up on a side street and after two years of sitting I finally managed to speak to the owner and settled on 2.5k for the car, I threw some V Power and jump started it and it seemed well. This is after I pumped on tyre up and threw a few twigs aside. I really like the black and orange tang interior.

Haha....Well I was told the car was fine mechanically but when ran the car today it has some white smoke so hopefully it's oiled plenum or PCV as it has been sitting for some time and not a head gasket. Gave it a scrub down one side today before it began to rain. Ignore the drill with pad, works for me, I know it's not a proper DA, don't judge me please 🥺 -
Hi there. Been registered for a couple of years but have just been browsing this forum and was tempted by a few 350z listed for sale here. I have a demanding job and a demanding family so money is tight, but always had lemonade budget second (many more to be fair) hand cars. Sorry for the rambling I will upload some pictures as well, I promise. I've been after a 350z ever since 2003 when my brother took me to see one in a dealership, it was a sunset orange GT if I recall. I was in love, I forgot my love of 911's and thought it's the car for me. I've always had older cars and on retro rides website. I've been into Volvo's, MX5's and jeeps. A always saw a 05 350z parked on a side street and always took detours to drive past it, back in late 2022 it vanished. About six months ago I went to a farm (London Docklands, yes we have farms in London) and noticed the same black 350z parked under a tree behind the farm. It took a few door knocks before someone knew the owner who works abroad. I passed on my number as the car now was untaxed with no MOT then silence. I thought it was a long shot and didn't hear back so I bought a Vauxhall Frontera' 2.5d for peanuts a few weeks back and was happy to smoke around in that. Then I get a text two weeks into my love affair with the Frontera', the message was the owner of the 350z he asked for me to pop over for a chat. This below is the state the car was in. I was told the car run fine but hasn't been moved for 1.5years so before even starting the car I bought it for £2500. I didn't have 2.5k believe it or not that's the most I've ever paid for a car and I've had a few. I borrowed the cash from my wife and she blew a gasket and told me told me to sell the Frontera'as it was costing me £12.50 Ulez per day so I listed it that evening and amazingly got a sale an hour after placing it on car and classic for three times the amount I paid, so I promptly paid the wifey and had myself a effectively a free 350z.

I'm looking for your car😉. Those wheels set the car off, dear I say it better than the rays. Thank you peeps for the warm welcome. Lots of reading will commence. Regards Raz

Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself. Looking to get a 350z hopefully in burnt orange (or whatever Nissan call it). I remember back in 2003 going to a dealership in my first car a 1.1 fiesta pop, the sales man was a excited as I was and let my brother test drive the car. It was a 53 plate GT in orange with tan interior. I remember being blown away with specs. Put off by rust but having MX5's this is nothing new. Fast forward and having 9+ MX5 Mk1's jeeps and lots of old turbo bricks Volvo's I've always wanted a 350z which I'd thought was a thinking persons 911. I've been looking for the right car but tempted but the Azure Blue car in Glasgow for 3500 which is a steal. Was on the hunt for a burnt orange, tan interior GT UK car. I currently have a is300 Lexus and wish to ad a second car. Lack of back seats is a issue hence why I was contemplating a roadster. Anyway just like to thank moderators and users of this forum as it looks well run.
