  1. Welcome along. Whereabouts in Somerset are you?
  2. How are you supporting the bonnet in those first few pics? Can't quite make out what you're using.
  3. Welcome along - get a few pics of your Nismo when you can! Being near-ish in Essex, you might be interested in the Ace Cafe Z meet on Saturday 11th June, if entries are still open. Take a look at the local and national meets section here.
  4. What a great build thread, excellent work! I was going to post a thread called "Show Me Your Knob" as I want to get shot of the dildo-esque bell-end of the standard one in my Nismo. I've seen vids on UToob showing what a task it is to get the old one off - seems they're true. Anyway, I quite like the one you've fitted, did it come from Torqen? Also, what do you think of the Falkens that you've fitted?
  5. I very nearly bought a 2020 Cooper S Sport last summer. I drove two, both manual, both with God awful clutch action. Good fun to drive though but you see them everywhere.
  6. I was travelling in the opposite direction and only caught sight of him when he flashed me - apologies for my delayed wave!
  7. Sorry, I gave the impression it was a recent photo. This was June last year. We frequented CP Longleat for quite a few years when the kids were, well, kids. I was visiting relos in Frome nearby, so thought I'd pass by for a photo. It's just one of my favourites of the car so far.
  8. A quick blast down to Wiltshire and Somerset.
  9. Welcome along - a black bonnet! I'm very partial to a black bonnet as a contrast feature - looks great! As well as Japfest, check out the Ace Cafe meet on 11th June in the events section here.
  10. Even the bottles and labels look attractive!
  11. Is it not being sold in Europe or the UK?
  12. With PS4s? I can't get my crappy Potenzas to wear down - they seem to have as much tread left (and that's loads!) after nearly 3k miles since I bought my Z a year ago. I can't justify binning them, so I'm probably stuck with them for another 12 months at least! I take it easy in the wet/damp with the Z anyway and in all honesty the Potenzas seem fine in the dry whilst commiting to some lairy driving, although if I jumped into a Z with MPSs fitted I'd most likely feel the difference.
  13. I recently renewed my Nismo insurance with LV - just a tad under £300 fully comp, max NCB, with Ecutek and HFCs declared. The "specialist" companies didn't come close, with one even asking for the mods to be done first before they'd even look at quoting - how nuts is that?!!
  14. What I'd thought, maybe better as a track tyre brand.
  15. How about Toyo? They're big in the world of racing in Japan, US and Oz. No idea what their road tyres are like.
  16. Welcome along, get some pics up of the three!
  17. Abbey look after my Nismo, I wouldn't go anywhere else. It went in for Ecutek and HFCs last November. With regards to the rear wing, what make/brand is it and did you fit it yourself?
  18. That looks stunning, welcome along. That must be a rare sight, a 70 plate on a Z.
