    Hi have tried to get car sorted without success, have ended up at Nissan dealer who state they would fit new motor for £500 plus  and labour charges. I see that you sell parts for 350z  and wonder if you have the motor hat is situated at the back of drivers side. I have never fitted one myself but am prepared to give it a go rather than be charge ridicuous amount by NISSAN

    hi there stanski  sorry for delay in messaging you I have  been busy , my car is a 55 plate with 80000 miles  i live in fife have contacted trimmers  as you suggested  but unable to help Ended up at local nissan dealer who wants to change motor at a cost of £500 plus labour charges.

    Have decided to try reconditioned motor from Zmanalex if available and try to fit myself.

      Hiya , Alex is a great guy hopefully he will get you sorted out.

       

      Suggest you take lots of photos and measure linkages etc before you remove anything first. Nissan dealers dont have a clue about the softtops they never did hence why I suggested a trimmers? 

       

      Trouble is a lot of these skills have gone now , its box replacement and nobody seems to care?

    Hi to everyone, I have a Nissan 350z Roadster which I have owned for 2 years, I am currently having issues with the electric roof, and am looking for any advice. When opening the roof it is fine, but when closing it , it is doing so unevenly, I have greased the two motor cogs, and have used white lithium on moving parts, but the roof still needs a little help by hand to close. Hoping someone can help, even by recommending local repairer. Many thanks
