This thread has made me smile for sure!

    400z

    I'd be happy with 400bhp in a Z.
  3. It could have been worse...and at least it has a petrol V8 engine. Car life will really be over when they are powered purely by a battery.
  4. Welcome back Your car looks gorgeous!
  5. This is a good point and I only use my Roadster as an occasional car and the opportunity to use it in the dry/reasonable weather is becoming less and less currently. It has been in the garage on its trickle charger for over two weeks now, and I can't see that changing anytime soon.
  6. That seems like a real bargain for someone at that price for sure. These look great in White for me.
  7. A positive difference for sure and thanks for the video. The bark really reminds me of the sound mine makes with my HFC's. It is a distinctive noise and I didn't realise that it was the HFC's that specifically made that noise until listening to your video. Looking forward to when the invidia is on too.
  8. That is a surprise then given how well rated the e46 is in the handling department. I can see me getting one at some stage in the future I reckon, because they remind me quite a bit of my old S14a 200SX(I absolutely loved that car once I'd modded it to 250bhp) minus the Turbo.
  9. The GT86 was slightly quicker than the 350Z around the Top Gear test track too. I actually dismissed the GT86(I'm a big fan overall of them) when I was looking to buy my 370Z, thinking that I'd find the GT86 a bit underwhelming in the performance stakes...I was very wrong it seems!
  10. Weight has always been the 350Z and 370Z's achilles heel and it certainly hampers them a bit. I need to have a go in a GT86 to see what they are like because I really like the recipe of them. Love the fact that they only weigh around 1200kg as well.
  11. I always percieve the GT86/BRZ as being fairly slow cars but that video proved otherwise for sure.
  12. It just shows how much we all want it to happen though!
  13. I really hope that the 370Z gets a successor that is for sure. I hope that the next one will be twin turbo like the previous 300ZX.
  14. A lovely looking Z you have there! Thanks for the pics. Great to hear that there is another Z in the family. Enjoy!
  15. Hello and welcome I've got HFC's on my Roadster and a custom exhaust and it is loud! So I think that you will be very happy with your upgrades. They are pretty quiet as standard that is for sure. Have you got any pics for us please?
  16. Also agree with this I'd had a few Bmw's and I found that with them(and most German cars) you had to be going really silly speeds before they got really enjoyable to drive. So I flipped it on its head and went for a MINI Cooper S, it isn't a fast car by any means with only 189bhp. Yet it has hit the spot for me because I've found it fun and it is a car that you can enjoy at more realistic speeds.
  17. Hello and welcome Enjoy the Z.
  18. Hello and welcome! Both lovely cars there. You can't beat a 350Z for me, it is a great car.
  19. I've always loved the Mustang and helped by the fact that my Dad had a 5.0 Litre V8 1979 pace car for 10 years(from 1980 to 1990). I absolutely loved it(and the noise it made) and it was a big head turner back then for sure(ignore my sister in the pic!).
  20. As others have said the Mustang is all about the V8 engine. Ford need a slap for even offering the Mustang with a 4 cylinder engine for me.
  21. I had one(manual) as a daily back in 2013 and it started to feel pretty ordinary pretty quickly for me. The interior is standard 3 series apart from the seats/speedo. The range is poor and it only really feels quick at 6000rpm and above. A Jack of all trades and a master of none Imo. I'd consider one as a second car now though, and they are becoming reasonable value now too.
  22. I didn't really get on with my Z4M Roadster(didn't like the ride/suspension/gearbox), but the Z4M Coupe could be an option. Good looks and quicker than the 350Z.
