  1. I reckon that you've set the bar a little too high for me though. Plus I don't seem to have the patience to spend a very long time cleaning the car like I used to, and I enjoy driving them more now. I do really appreciate a clean and shiny car though for sure.
  2. I did think of you when I was out in mine today. It was between 4 and 5 degrees when I was out but I had the heated seat on and the heater on 30 degrees! Roll on the warmer weather I say!
  3. Hello and welcome John. Enjoy your Z.

    Which HFCs

I got mine last April and the garage put a years MOT on it with the HFC's on(with an advisory of exhaust noisy lol!). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it passes again next month at my local garage. Worse case scenario is that I do still have the original cats so it will just mean a bit of pratting about swapping them over I guess. I have to admit that the noise the car makes is my favourite thing about it, and I didn't want a standard one because they are too quiet for me(I used to have a TVR Cerbera 4.5 so I like/enjoy exhausts loud! ).

    Which HFCs

I have HFC's on mine and they do make a nice difference. It is loud on cold start and you get a nice change in tone at about 3k to 4k revs.
  6. Mine is the same colour and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours for sure. You are making me want to get my polish and cleaning cloths out!
  7. Agree. It was just a shame that I ended up with a E61 520d instead! I've made sure that I now(since that experience) buy a car that actually has an engine under it's bonnet!
  8. I always drive my 370Z roof down and I love it as well. I don't mind it at around 6 degrees but I will admit that at around 2 degrees it does feel a bit cold. I never wear a coat when driving though(always found it a bit uncomfortable for some reason) but I think if I did I would be fine for sure. Looking forward to the warmer weather now though for certain.
  9. Love it! You certainly don't see many modified(or standard!) that's for sure!
  10. I love what you are doing with this. It really makes me want to spruce mine up too! I love yours.
  11. Thanks. It is absolutely gorgeous.
  12. A great story and a fantastic looking Z. Welcome back and enjoy the car.
  13. Welcome back. Your Z looks awesome and it sits great and it looks lovely and shiny. I have spacers on my Roadster and I think they make a nice difference to the looks. I can recommend sports cats as well and they do add a distinctive sound. Enjoy it.
  14. Thanks. Agree and I only saw that other 370Z Roadster a few days ago. I've only seen a couple of 370Z Coupes and a couple of 350Z Coupes as well. They are rare cars for sure.
  15. Here's mine. Had it a year in April and I've only seen one other around my way in that time.
  16. Hello and welcome. Hope you get the roof fixed as easy as possible. Enjoy the Z.
  17. They are an acquired taste for sure. I did like how you could hear the exhaust inside the car though...because in most Bmw's you can't hear the exhaust inside the cabin. Thanks.
  18. I ran a mk2 TTS and a E92 M3 together for a while and I actually thought that the TT was the much better daily driver. I keep looking at the mk3 TTS because as an all round car I'm a really big fan, and the performance and interior is another step up from the mk2.
  19. The ZF8 auto is a great gearbox and I had it in a 640d. I really like an auto in heavy stop/start traffic and they work well in a daily I reckon. On a spirited drive though I always miss the extra interaction of a third pedal and a stick.
  20. I enjoyed reading that article. I've had a Z4M Roadster and I currently have my 370Z GT Roadster and for me I much prefer the chassis/ride/manual gearbox in the 370Z for sure. I've enjoyed reading Modern Classics magazine since it first came out.
