Same. Went in 2018. Free vip tickets via work. Sat in the Hill Pavilion on the first corner. Bright, sunny weekend, loved every minute. I took the wife and kids down and made a weekend of it. Would I have gone if I had to pay for the vip tickets? - probably not! They were £700 a pop I think! 😱 But definitely recommend going and experiencing for sure. Just go for the regular tickets & make sure the weather's nice the year you go!

Mine was mapped by Jez @ Horsham! (ECU and gearbox). Gearbox was great in manual mode when using the paddles. And the sound of the downshift rev matching never got old!

Agreed. I had an auto as a daily and used it for munching work miles in and I couldn't fault it! Loved it. Great cruiser/GT car. Managed 400+ miles from a tank, cruising to Newcastle a couple of times. But I would definitely recommend the manual if you're driving locally and at weekends only. I ended up selling my auto after lockdown/COVID. WFH meant I no longer did the miles in it, so didn't use it as much.

I'm down for this if the cars ready! The 90s sh*tbox is due to go into a workshop (again) this week for some exhaust work. I'm definitely in if it's sorted and back in time. Black mountain pass is awesome. Did it last year with a buddy. Need to be wary of the rocks on the inside when heading up. Puncture central if you hit one. Plenty fun to be had in low gears. Doubt you'll be able to reach any scary speeds, especially when in a convoy.

Picked the MR2 up yesterday. Its been away at a workshop in Oxford for the past 6 weeks. Found it parked next to some proper JDM royalty! 😎 First job this weekend will be to give it a good wash/polish. Not done that since the beginning of Dec when it was put away for the winter months! 😱

My 90s shitbox (MR2/Z 👀) is back from the workshop after 6 weeks away! So count me in as one of the non zeds at the back!

Not sure if you've checked, but look into the Chinese ones. Looks like full Tesla screen systems are available now for both AC and non AC setups, for not a lot of money considering what you get. I'd have one of these if I still had my zed.
