Ah. Ok. No the system keeps running while you drive. So maps/music/torque whatever app you're running, will keep going until you turn them off.

Sorry bud, not sure I understand your question. There's no correlation between the handbrake and the screen, so no the screen doesn't turn off when the handbrake is released.

First post updated. New specs. New processor, more storage, now 32gb storage instead of original 16gb, Android 7.1-9.0. Same price.

Hi Alex, sorry it's the driverside headlight. Didn't realise I had said passenger until I saw your reply! Doh! It's the dipped and main beam that's not working. Sidelights and indicators work fine. Bulbs are now eBay specials, I've replaced both sides and passenger side is still working fine. Both ignitor and ballast are Matsushita/Panasonic, so OEM parts. Not checked the relays, will do next and report back. Cheers.

Hi guys, Got an issue with my driver side headlight on my 2013 (62) 370z, hoping for some advice from fellow zedders! The headlight has been a little condensed for a while now, but over the past month or two, it's gotten a lot worse. So bad, my dipped beam has now stopped working. So, I took the light out, replaced the bulb, ballast and ignitor all at once (the ballast and ignitor were very wet inside and out). I dried the light out and put it back on. The headlight initially worked, but only for about 10mins, after which it switched off again. I left it for a day or two, and then tried it again. And again, it turned on for about 10mins and went out again. Since then, it has not worked again. I've looked at the headlight fuse and that looks fine, so I'm lost to what else to do/check. Any ideas/advice on what to check/do next? Hoping to avoid having to replace the whole headlight! :S Thanks, STZ.

Very timely. I'm going to do my first DIY oil change soon on my zed. Bought 6ltrs of Mobil 1 5w30, a K&N oil filter and one of those copper sump washers in readiness.

Update. I've ordered the mxs 10a from eBay with next day delivery. Amazon can't deliver till 26th April! Wow. My zeds battery is the original one, so 7yrs old now. I was ready to pay the RAC man to replace it, but he said it was still holding up. Hopefully, keep it going for a bit longer now with the charger. Cheers all!

Evening all...so, I went to start my 370z yesterday after a week of not using/starting it, and it didn't start. I called the RAC out this morning to test the battery and the bloke said the battery was fine, but recommended that I should keep it topped up with an automatic charger. I think the short trips I do to work and back aren't really long enough to keep the battery charged fully etc. So, I've been looking to get something online. But there are so many options! Will a £20 12v 6amp auto charger suffice? Or do I go for a cteck mxs 5.0 at £80? Why the big difference in prices? What have you guys got? What comes recommended? All advice welcome. Cheers.

Gutted I missed it. I had my bumper and lights out, trying to solve some headlight issues. Didn't get the zed meet ready in time. Looks like a great turn out. Hopefully there for the next one!

Also, just to point out. My supplier shuts shop from 17th Jan till 2nd Feb for Chinese New year, so if you're thinking of ordering, get the orders in now - or wait till Feb.

Hi buddy, I'm not sure about the non premium connect. It depends on what ports you have behind your unit etc. So cant say if it would or wouldn't, sorry. The supplier did say it was designed for the premium connect only. But don't know if they tested it on an older system or not. It does have the ability to mirror link via USB or Bluetooth - where you can literally mirror your phone screen. It is a tad rudimentary, as in my limited testing of it, I found you have to have the phone screen on all the time etc. But it does have that option.
