  1. I never got round to buying any for my car in the end - I did check with Zmanalex who was fresh out of auto switches at the end of July, might be worth checking with him? I think @Ewen@Clark Motorsport also may have some for sale
  2. All yours - PM me your details All done already then thanks, please feel free to lock
  3. Recently purchased a new boot mat as I didn't like the old one - it's one of the crappy thin ones, not sure if it's OEM or not. Photo of it below - as you can see it has 2 slits cuts where the boot divider goes, and isn't in the best of condition. If anyone want's it, I'll post it to you for free. If not I'll bin it in a week. I'll take another photo tonight with my username in, but figured I'd get this post up first before I forget. Thanks
  4. Yes, the module folds the windows in when you lock the car, and folds them out when you turn the ignition on. So when getting out of the car you can still see behind you as the mirror hasn't folded in as you haven't locked the car.
  5. The mirrors fold in when you lock the car, so you can still see behind you when parked. Brilliant module, I'd recommend it for anyone with a Zed.
  6. Pretty sure this is for a 370? It's got the centre fog light cut out as well as all the installed photos being of a 370
  7. Xtrons is an okay brand, but I think you get what you pay for in the end - there are also a lot of good head units from decent brands available for that price. I'll be picking up an Android Auto unit shortly - probably the Sony XAV-AX5000. I think AA only offers Waze or Google Maps - are both of those no good?
  8. At least the Z looks a bit different - everyone seems to have BMW's at the moment, and they all look the same!
  9. "These rules are there for anyone wishing to get an idea of the history of the car and owner. 10. Exactly that - trip resets but mileage will always stay the same. The fuse in the middle is 100% the fuse related to this issue, however if you are sure that it is working properly then it may be a BCM issue.
  11. I'm about 90% sure my interior lights didn't work when that fuse went either - from when i was googling it the BCM seemed to be fairly commonly suggested, but most people found that it ended up being a fuse issue. Do your gauges still retain memory?
  12. Have you checked the fuses with a Multi-meter for continuity, or just visually? The small fuses can be quite hard to read properly. I had a similar issues recently, where all the gauges kept resetting and the dash indicator lights did not function correctly. This was related to the fuse box in the drivers footwell - the fuse directly below the fuse puller
  13. Have you unscrewed the speaker in the door and checked the BCM cable? You may not be able to tell if the wire has been tapped into by just removing the door panel. I don't know how else you can get the door lock signal without tapping into that wire.
  14. I had the P0200 code appear a month ago - purchased an O2 sensor from Zmanalex to fix it but after clearing the code it has never returned. The O2 sensor is now for sale (HR) if anyone needs it.
  15. Here's a DIY guide to give you an idea of what the repair entails There's a reason everyone has recommended a garage that has experience with these cars, it's no small job
  16. Oil gallery gaskets - very common issue on HR's - take it to someone who has done it before, it's not a small job. Costs about £800 to fix - I believe the oil pan can be pulled to see if any paper gasket material is in there, however looking at your oil pressure it looks like that's the issue. Abbey Motorsport or Horsham Developments are the best if you are close to either

    Oil type

I've been reading a lot on the forum regarding choosing oil. My car is a 96k HR, so from what I've read its a good idea to change from 5w30 to 5w40. The 2 top recommendations are: Fuchs Titan Race Pro S = £48 Or Motul 8100 X-Cess = £31 Will I actually see/feel any benefit by buying the Fuchs, or is the Motul the better option based on price to quality? Thanks.
  18. Purchased from Zmanalex on the 4th of August due to a code popping up, however after resetting it, it has never re-appeared so I don't need this anymore. It's from a HR with 29,000 miles per Alex, I paid £100 + P&P so I'm looking for £80 + P&P. Thanks, Ewan.
  19. This looks perfect thank you - and at a much more reasonable price Do you think 600gm is enough or in hindsight would you recommend a slightly thicker option?
  20. Looks like yours is the thin crappy one too? After the thicker one like you purchased! Thanks anyway
  21. My HR 350z has a really thin crappy looking boot mat that has bits of fluff coming off it everywhere. Not sure if it's OEM or not, as the one supplied by Torqen here; https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/body-styling/interior/10926-350z-nissan-oem-rear-trunk-mat-carpet-coupe-999e3-zp001.html looks 100x better quality and is supposedly OEM, mine also doesn't have a Z logo on it. Is there anywhere else I can get these cheaper, or any aftermarket ones of a similar quality? I can't justify spending £90 on a new boot mat! Cheers, Ewan.
  22. Sold my BMW on Facebook before buying my Zed last month - got £100 less than the advertised price, but got a lot of people wasting my time asking if a 320i is a diesel. That said, I wouldn't expect a Zed to sell well on Facebook due to it's higher value. My BMW sold for £2,500 which is about the top-end of what people on FB would pay I reckon.
  23. As above - Facebook marketplace can also be a very popular place to sell - depending on how much you are asking for as people on FB are quite cheap. Autotrader is the no.1 place I go to look for car - it's expensive though.
