  1. @SiriusProjects looks awesome mate! Never a big fan of black wheels normally but this does look spot on the white calipers really help tie it all together imo
  2. Just in case anyone is interested. Had my knuckles shortened today by 25mm. Chopped out a section, drilled and tapped the top and bottom piece and instered a threaded 10mm stainless bar between the two for strength. Then had them welded to finish them off. Works a treat!
  3. It's one of the first things I do when buying a car. Clean with windscreen with a razor blade and then go over it with a clay bar. Top it all off with Carbon Collective's Hydrophobia and water will not touch the windscreen for months on end
  4. @Shep1982 ah right okay. I definitely wouldn't want to go very low then if you've got that many speed bumps by you I think whichever you go for you'll be more than happy with them! Coilovers are a night and day difference when compared to springs so I'm sure you'll love them
  5. @Adrian@TORQEN @V1H stated in his project thread, using the Torqen S coilovers that "The rear coils I set to the lowest possible ride height, but could only achieve a drop of 12 mmversus stock. And this I only achieved by taking out one of the two blue collar ring nuts on the coil seat. I feel the rear coils are a tiny bit too tall/stiff. But I'm happy nonetheless" That's what I'm basing the above comment about a 15mm drop on... Never used them myself
  6. @Shep1982 I'm fairly certain @V1H has the Torqen S coilovers so he'll be able to give you his opinions on them. From what I understand they don't go very low though. Not even as low as most lowering springs! 15mm springs to mind but I'm not too certain. Ive got BC's myself and I swear by them. I've had them on every car I've ever owned and they've always been spot on. Plenty of adjustment and generally perfect for the cost. Ive got mine on full stiff with 16kg front and 12kg rear springs but I generally run my car far too stiff as it's quite low. I used to have the stock 10/8 spring set up with 10 clicks from stiff on the front and 15 clicks from stiff on the rear. It was a perfect set up for daily driving while still making the car feel much sharper and planted on the road.
  7. @Humpy Thanks mate! Probably my favourite thing I've done to the car. Just need to finally get round to ordering those TS sideskirt extensions and drls to really complete it imo
  8. £850 ono. Willing to listen to sensible offers! Preferably need them gone by the end of the month.
  9. @Ceejay29 I put the spacer on just to bring the wheel flush with the arch. You don't need to run spacers whatsoever ever if you don't want to, they will clear the brakes just fine Achilles are very popular in Japan from what I've seen. They're pretty good tyres imo and seemingly last a long time from the reviews I've read. By no means are they a replacement for the expensive stuff like a pilot sport but I definitely wouldn't call them 'budget' either.
  10. I can't believe I've never spotted this thread before! Just read the whole thing start to finish. Genuinely stunning build mate! Top notch
  11. @StormWhite Yeah I know the setup isn't to everyone's taste. By no means a functional setup but I don't plan on tracking this car so its tailored towards just aesthetics. I've had my fun with track cars so this is just something different for me. I've always been a big fan of 326power and that style of car hence the aggressive camber settings and excessively low ride height... I know it's definitely possible as both these cars are on coilovers - just trying to find someone who can shorten my knuckles for me
  12. @reeceybeaney I hope it's going to plumit compared to last year as I still fell into the 17-20 bracket. We'll see Fitment seems to be pretty spot on for a 350 by the looks of things these are 19 x 11 et15 all round: Obviously mine are slightly less aggressive so you shouldn't have to go with stretched tyres or anything like that.
  13. Hi, Up for sale are my Aodhan DS02's. Specs are as follows: Front: 19 x 9.5J et12 with a 245/35 tyre. Rear: 19 x 11J et22 with a 275/35 tyre. 5x114.3 I purchased these wheels at the end of November 2018 from Royal Speed Shop in California. Upon delivery I had them stripped and powder coated in a Ford 'Rock Grey'. The tyres are 6 weeks old and have covered 500 miles max so they're essentially brand new! I have all the original receipts from Royal Speed Shop, FedEx and Prestige Wheel Refurbishments should you want them. All wheels are in perfect condition, no scuffs whatsoever. I ran these with a 25mm rear spacer and the fitment was perfect! Although it did require a tiny bit of trimming of the inner edge of the rear bumper. If you'd rather not do that then a 20mm spacer would be perfect I'd imagine I'd rather not let them go so cheap as they've cost me almost double what I'm listing them for but my insurance is due in March and since I'm 21 it's probably going to be an absolute fortune £900 ono Cash on collection. Located in Bristol.
  14. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had issues with the top of their upper control arms hitting the inside of the suspension turrets? Mine has started to tap the inside of the turret over bigger bumps in the road. Here's mine currently (not under compression) : I have seen some cars over in Japan with RK Racing shortened knuckles but i cannot seem to find anywhere that will stock these! I've considered having my stock knuckles shortened but I'm yet to find anywhere local to me that can do this. Just wondering what other people have done to combat this? and yes, i know i could just raise the car a bit but i just love the look of it and it drives perfectly other than this knock. Cheers
  15. Wheels look awesome! I'd be enclined to go with the Grey but whichever you go for I'm sure they'll look spot on
  16. @HEADPHONES haha cheers mate! I wish I could say I actually knew what I was doing with a camera but I'd be lying... Just good lighting and location I guess!
  17. @LRF4N Never been hugely keen on dark wheels to be honest but decided to give them a go and I'm glad I did! They did look pretty awesome imo. @nissanjuke Wheels are 19x10.5J et12 all round with 255/35 tyres. On the rear I've got a 25mm spacer and on the front I have a 20mm spacer with rolled arches If I didn't have the camber arms then I probably wouldn't run the spacers on the front end.
  18. @valy Cheers mate! Can't wait for the summer now
  19. @Andy_Muxlow Cheers mate! Over the moon with it
  20. @Payco Cheers mate! Yes sounds good to me, I look forward to it
  21. New wheels are on Couldn't be happier with them. They've far exceeded my expectations of how it'd look! Probably a little bit 'stancy' for some but it's exactly what I wanted and then some... Bring on the 2019 show season!!
  22. New wheels are finally on I know I say this alot, but I absolutely adore the look of the car now. Its far exceeded my expectations of how it'd look! So much for this "first year I'll probably just do springs and spacers"... Here we are 10 months later:
  23. @Akumanozetto hi mate. For the front bumper all you will need is the bumper itself and the two red lower strips. You can also get the tow hook cover but I didn't bother with that myself. For the rear bumper all you will need is the bumper itself and the tow hook cover. The bracket that holds the fog light is a perfect fit so don't bother with the Nismo one. Hope that helps. Cheers
  24. @Bry Okay mate will do! They look very good on face value so far
