@SHEZZA Hahaha cheers mate! It can be a bit of a nightmare at times trying to change lanes and avoid all the bumps at the same time Definitely not the most practical car anymore
-
Looks spot on that Can't imagine you had much fun getting over the bridge on the entry at Silverstone - I know i sure didn't
-
Japfest complete. My first time attending the show at Silverstone and it certainly won't be my last! Quite amazing at how many cars were there - even after 10 hours I still don't think I looked at everything on display. Brilliant day all round.

As already said, thanks again to @andy james and all others involved with the organisation of the day. Brilliant day overall and the scale of the stand was quite remarkable! -

JAPFEST SILVERSTONE SUNDAY 5TH MAY 2019

Ground clearance is probably down to about an inch at best now I honestly can't remember the last time i went over a speed bump. I'll try and sweet talk them into letting my take the bridge route - hopefully they won't mind! Thanks for the map though! Only ever been to Silverstone once so that'll no doubt come in handy trying to navigate my way around -
JAPFEST SILVERSTONE SUNDAY 5TH MAY 2019

Hope I haven't got to go through that tunnel under the track like last time I went to Silverstone. That's a surefire way to write off your front lip and Y-pipe flexi's -
Personally I'd keep an eye out on the classifieds. You get the odd bargain pop up on here and it's loads cheaper than buying brand new!

As @davidv10 has already said. Very easy to do if you fancy a bit of DIY. Start to finish it took me about a day to complete, although most of that was drying time.
-
@ZavageZ34 Very surprised to see you on the UK forum! Love the car btw I've been following this on Instagram ever since i purchased my 370 just over a year or so ago. By far my favourite track-focused 370z! The CR2P's were definitely my favourite

If needs be you can always trim the arch liner a tiny bit where it rubs and then bend the bracket slightly and the problem will disappear. I did this and never had any issues whatsoever with my 25mm spacers (the car was also lowered 25mm at this point). If the car isn't lowered i can't foresee any issues whatsoever personally... A small adjustment of driving style and not smashing it over bumps will be more than enough. My car doesn't rub at all at the moment and it's about 60mm lower than stock with the equivalent of running a 69mm spacer! You've got nothing to worry about imo

@LRF4N Cheers mate! That's my favourite shot too Going to give it a wash tomorrow, apply my 326 banner and grab some more photos again.
-
To continue with the theme of this thread, the car is once again a bit lower and a bit more impractical 326 Power springs fitted alongside Gaz helper springs. Fitted my Torqen undertray at the same time as well! Probably far to excessive for most but it looks spot on imo. Just need to make myself a nice lip kit and get a 326 Power wing fitted to finish it off a bit i think. A few photos from Castle Combe Golf Course as well

Probably the worst looking 370 I've seen. No idea what they wee going for with all those red accents

Genuinely amazed at how quickly i received my Torqen undertray for my 370. Ordered at 10:00 am on Tuesday and had a tracking information 8 minutes later! Received the following day and the quality of the part was spot on. 10/10 in my books! Cheers @Adrian@TORQEN

@Killick.z Cheers mate! Trying to keep it somewhat presentable for sure.

Definitely be up for this. Never attended before and want to try and pack out my calendar with as many car shows as possible! Fairly certain I haven't got anything planned on that day so count me in! 1. NickC 2. Silverthorn

@ShortPaul I assume you're talking about mine? if so, it's static. Sat on BC racing coilovers w/ 16kg/mm front springs and 10kg/mm rear springs. Soon the be swapped to a set of 326Power springs & Gaz helpers.
-
@ShortPaul Ah no way! Very suprised I've never spotted your car before to be honest! I'll keep a look out for you from now on
-
@ShortPaul Not too sure whether or not I should be impressed or scared that you managed to work that out from that photo But yes, I do mate.
-
@Bry I spoke with 326Power a few times to discuss any issues they may of had with running the true coilovers with high spring rates but seemingly there were none to report. Ive spoken with a few people over in Japan as well as a guy in the states who ran spring rates higher than the ones I've ordered and there were no issues on their part as well. I'm still tempted to get some form of strut brace / reinforcement made just to be on the safe side but we'll see. I tend to drive my car quite carefully on roads I don't know very well and avoid basically all bumpy roads and potholes so the car lives most of its life either on the motorway or relatively main A roads so I won't be smashing it over bumps and shearing turrets.
-
If 10kg is a bit stiff then you probably wouldn't want to know what the replacement spring rates are The car is being built purely for aesthetics at this point to be honest. Still drives relatively well and is perfect for having fun at lower speeds compared to having soft springs and huge meaty rear tyres. On Saturday i fitted 4 new tyres in a 235/35/19 as well so at this point i think the actual handling capabilities are seriously reduced compared to a properly set-up road/track car. The stiffer rear spring rate and skinny-ish tyres really help the car step-out at very low speeds compared to before so it's honestly the most fun to drive it's ever been! Definitely would hurt the feelings of a lot of purists though that religiously run PS4's in super-wide widths and proper suspension set-ups etc.

Car looks stunning mate! As everyone has already said, that ride height is ridiculous!! I need that in my life
