Hi all, Obligatory "apologies if this has been asked before"... Thinking of changing my standard Rays for a set of JR10's, I'm at stock height at the moment, I am looking at 18x8,5 ET25 fronts and 18x9.5 ET18 rears, also wondering if they will clear the brembos. Will I be able to keep my stock tire size 225/45 and 245/45, I don't mind a little bit of stretch, but also don't want to worry about rubbing as I don't want to roll the arches either. If any of you are running these wheels, could you be so kind as to drop a picture as I'd like to know what they look like in this size? Or the computer articulate among this forum could you photo shop the wheels on to a pic of my zed just to get an idea, that would be amazing! Thanks very much to all who read this. Cheers! E

Yeah I know haha, bring it on haters I'm a 1JZ man, I just personally prefer the sound over a 2J, I was actually looking at buying a JZX90 Chaser a few months back but I needed to put my sensible head on haha, but a 1JZ in a 350, best of both worlds for me

Sorry bud just saw that you replied! Many years of saving up I think haha. I've got plans for my Z in the future anyway, may be considering a 1JZ in about 3-5 years or so, so quite far into the future haha. I think for now though, I'll enjoy the NA scream from the engine! How come you had to replace your clutch? General wear and tear or something else?

Always bud! Yeah I wasn't either until I started researching it, I have an 08 and apparently they don't fit without a few little mods to hangers and things. Not sure how true it is but I'd like one to just be a straight bolt on, saves so much hassle. Have you tried ebay and the likes? I'm sure the box won't stay around for long if you was to list it.

I have been looking at back boxes but that was before I noticed the huge gap in the pipes, so I thought while I'm at it, either change the center pipe too or go all out and get a full system, so I think I will have to pass on that offer, but thank you anyway . Also, just out of interest, what year is your z? I have seen a few contradicting answers as to whether a pre 06 back box will not fit a post 06?

It has been nice, to go from a vtec engine screaming at 8600rpm to a growling V6 and a kick in the backside when you give it a boot full, been good to have a go in both, I'll be honest, I sometimes do miss the vtec crossover . It'll just take some getting used to I suppose! But, I did need RWD in my life

So I was just about to go out for a drive, started the car and heard a blowing sound from the left rear, checked and saw the below. So I think it's time for a new one :D. I am looking at the Cobra resonated sports exhaust from Mitz at Cougar Store, as I use the car as much as I can and don't want it to drone on long journeys, just to give it a "proper" zed sound. I know a good few of you are running this exhaust, would you happily recommend this one or any others? Apologies if this has been asked many times before! Cheers E
