Just an update on this in case anyone else comes up against this in the future. I have been assured by rimstyle that they will fit as they have sold sets to other 370z owners (who haven’t had to use spacers apparently) I’ve ordered a set on the proviso that if the fronts don’t clear they take them back and refund me! Delivery due tomorrow/Tuesday so 🤞🏻

If the car was that good I wouldn’t rule it out based on the exhaust I’m sure you could find someone on here that would be willing to swap a standard exhaust for the one on this!! IMO it’s a little overpriced considering the mileage and age, were they willing to negotiate the price at all!?

As it's only 10 mins drive from my house seems daft not to go to this one! 1) PAYCO - Datsun 510 SSS 2) nismoandy 350z registered & paid 3) msitpro - 350Z registered and paid 4) Bunning - 370Z registered and paid

I've been pondering over what wheels to get for my 370Z for a long time and i'm almost at the point of purchasing some but i've hit a snag... (have searched the web, including fitment industries and the forum extensively with no firm answer) I want to get a set of Rota Grids (my choice, I know they may not be to everyone's taste) in the following set up: 19 x9.5J ET38 Front 19 x 10.5J ET20 Rear The reason for this setup up is that this pushes the wheels slightly further than the Nismo wheels and i don't ant to use spacers at all. The car (although not strictly a daily driver) needs to remain well useable on the road as I use it for work occasionally. I had been talking to driftworks and a couple of other companies and there are mixed answers on whether the fronts will clear the brake caliper, I know the front wheels are close and spoke design on any aftermarket wheels will have an impact but with a 9.5J running a 38mm positive offset I thought this would be enough. Any help appreciated

So I’m after a bit of advice I’ve trawled through the forum but can’t find anything specific so wondered if anyone can shed some light on my dilemma!! Im looking to change the wheels on my 370 (GT model) and have been looking at various options. I want to run whatever I get without spacers (personal choice I’m just not keen) but also want to bring the wheels out a bit more using the offset of the rims. I’ve pretty much decided on the rims I want but the fronts don’t come in the exact width and offset I want (9.5j Et38) they do however come in 10J ET38. I was planning on running slightly wider front tyres anyway so this isn’t a great issue I’ve run it through the willtheyfit calculator and it gives the below output. I know it’s not a great deal but it does say it’ll be a few mm closer to the strut which concerns me. For context my car isn’t lowered but I’m considering a minor drop using RSR springs (10mm down)

Yep that! I’ve got HKS drop ins in mine

Looks good quality! May i ask how much did you get stung on import tax (given that the pillar was $350) isn't it about 20%? Can't give any insight on the gauge question though sorry! Maybe contact Abbey, they are close to you.

Thanks for the responses guys. I’ve actually got some yellow stuff pads in the garage that I bought a while back so may just throw them on. The discs have a slight lip so if they are too far gone I’ll just go for standard discs when it comes to replace them

So I'm looking to replace my brakes in the not too distant future and plan on 'upgrading' at the same time. Does anyone run these EBCs on their 370Z, I'm interested in how these perform over standard (non-grooved) discs or opinions on quality of these in comparison to the likes of StopTech. Also I'd be interested on opinions of how noisy these are. For context I use my Zed occasionally for work (generally a few times a month but tends to be longer distances when I do i.e. 100 - 300 mile trips) and for leisure purposes. I'm not ruling out track days in the future, but have not used it on track yet. Any opinions appreciated. B

Did the latches lock properly before the hood was changed and did you have the flashing light before? if everything was fine before I’d be going back to the fitters to get them to rectify it!

Just an observation but probably not best to advertise on a public forum that you've broken current Coronavirus restrictions.

So after much deliberation on what wheels to put on my 370 GT and looking at numerous aftermarket options I'm pretty keen on getting a set of 370Z V1 Nismo alloys. I've considered buying new but ultimately I want them white so it seems bonkers buying brand new to then spray them immediately. On this basis i'll consider any condition V1 alloys as long as they are structurally sound, i.e. no cracks or welds. Money waiting for the right set. I appreciate these don't come up often but if anyone is considering selling drop me a PM. Thanks B

Bunning replied to andy james's topic in National Events & Shows
@andy james quick question, apologies for my ignorance but do you send club passes or are they sent closer to the event? The reason I ask is that i requested a club stand pass which showed on the order but wasn't included in the tickets sent to my email straight away by Eventbrite. -

Yeah I completely understand! I did just quickly nip out to the car and checked and there was actually a selectable an option for oil pressure (although it showed in red not grey on the list of parameters that can be monitored) I added it as a gauge but with the car running it just sat at zero so obviously there is no input, which would explain why it was in red!
-
Unfortunately I don't think so 'out of the box', I think there is only a pressure switch fitted as standard for the oil on the 370Z (someone feel free to correct me) as I would've liked to monitor the oil pressure too. Looking at EcuTek's knowledge base they say: The 370Z does not have an oil pressure sensor as standard. To add an input for oil pressure, sensors must be set up in the custom sensors section. So in theory it's possible but would require a sensor being fitted and added as a custom input in the EcuTek settings. I've only had it installed a day so haven't had a chance to go through everything, but there is a massive amount that can be monitored.
-
So I’d been toying with this for a while and decided to bite the bullet and get the EcuTek Bluetooth interface for my Zed. I like the ability to switch maps without mucking about with the steering wheel and the fault code reading/clearing function Thanks to @Mark@Abbey m/s and Scott as always for their service!! I’ve been playing with the dashboard settings and wanted to try to mimic the Zed’s ‘style’ and have come up with this so far Anyone else using one of these and have any dashboard files they’d care to share?
-
Also interested, maybe propose a group buy to him!?
-
@TheOracle71 I've PMd you about this!
-
Thanks for all your replies, he's decided to give this one a miss after talking to the seller. If anyone knows of any (known good ones) up for sale do let me know
-
I did think that. I’ve had that in the past with my own cars. I remember clearly getting an advisory for antiroll bar bushes one year then nothing the next (I hadn’t touched them)
-
Wasn’t keen on the idea of waterless wash but it’s good for doing door shuts and the petrol filler area, which I always forget until after I’ve washed the car!!

Apparently (according to my wife) mine have too! I'm out at work at the moment but will post my haul up later!
