  1. My new assistant manager starts june, so hopefully i can get some saturdays where im not at work.
  2. I can't grumble, my dad lives in Hong Kong and he paid for all 5 of us to go out and see him last summer. The SO and his 3 grand kids.
  3. Id only be a guarantor for my own kids ........ and youre effectively a guarantor for them anyway Maybe financially at times but once they're over 18 (or is it 16?) then legally they're responsible for themselves. Nuts. Was just about to ring me dad, was eyeing up the charger in the for sale section lol. But at 30 something I'm definitely over both 18 and 16. Glad its sorted, been watching this thread, and you definitely did the right things. You offered what you could in a sensible level headed way
  4. Is it uk spec? What age etc have you got? Does it look factory fit or aftermarket?
  5. Plus you'd also be trapping dirt and brake dust in between layers.
  6. If you're going to do that you might as well peel off and start from scratch. You can't keep adding layer and layer of dip lol
  7. You lot cost me a fortune lol
  8. Normal light sunlight
  9. Kinda. Its black until it hits the light and becomes aubergine. I had a civic mb6 in that colour and I loved it.
  10. I'm against vents, for me they're in the same realm of BGW's. Nothing against them, just not what I'm after on this car. I'll either get the rare HR bonnet, or (more than likely) get the one I have sprayed. I did consider wrapping EVERYTHING in Pirates Black.
  11. I wouldn't, I spent a year apart from the wife and kids...although for other reasons. I call it my gap year, which she hates. Point is, I'm a bad role model lol
  12. Also looking at the photos strudul posted the genuine carbon bonnets are shiny, a wrap is more than likely going to be matt. Ah well, I've chucked a lot more at the car in the first few months of ownership than intended, I can sort the bonnet at a later date.
  13. And obviously I'm relieved she's not been stolen. She keeps my zeditus in check. Oh look my new spoiler has just be delivered to work...
  14. Hard to tell, I've uploaded pictures of my wife and no one has come to steal her yet
  15. Ok rather than start a new topic, I'm adding further q's to this one. I bought the car complete with bird sh*t burn to the bonnet and the roof. As you know its a black car. Been quoted a few hundred to respray the whole bonnet. Now I have to get my rear spoiler sprayed anyway so might see if a deal can be done. However, I'm also considering getting the bonnet and roof wrapped. In my head a black car will only look any good with carbon look panels, otherwise it'll look like I raided a scrap yard and took the first bits i could find. I've seen silver zeds with carbon bonnets and I like it. I'm also thinking it might work well and tie in my wrapped reflectors as they look a similar colour when the light shines on them.
  16. Cooper Tyres own Avon. Its exactly the same tyre but usually a bit cheaper.
  17. The vid was reference to not being able to bring about driver error in straight line, not what the OP was doing. If he eased his foot off it may not have spun, as has been mentioned COG wouldn't have shifted dramatically.
  18. I need to find some private roads. Or bite the bullet and do a track day
  19. God yeah, I'm not angry, I'm jealous
  20. Someone with money that's bought his way into racing id say
  21. He was listing lazily to the right just before hitting 183. He then lifted off. At that speed tiny adjustment become magnified. In fact watching it a again, his line was all over the place throughout.
  22. I've only ever had the light on once when i wasn't expecting it. I was doing fast miles per hour around a bend. It didn't twitch or become unstable but the light came on. By this time I was on a long down hill straight.
