  1. My o/s/f is missing, but mine came loose going on to my drive and my tyre ate it. Bound to be someone that is breaking one somewhere though.
  2. Well my route took me from derby to Buxton, then to matlock and bakewell. Going through bakewell I passed a lovely supra. He raced to catch up and we has some fun on windy roads. I let him passed and followed him to the a38 to Pinxton at 70mph. Stopped and had a chat, his car was lovely, twin turbo with over 400bhp, he like to bait the bikers around the area and was impressed I was able to lose him on the corners. Back home for a beer now.

Correct, they descended on the philipines armed to to teeth this week. Pretty sure they didn't bomb them for oil

Forget decades, its been centuries. Eddie Izzard talks about our cunning strategy of conquering the world using flags: Rock up in the boat, feet on sand, flag in ground "I claim this land for King and Country", "oh look locals..No flag? No country! But you can become our slaves if you like".I agree with Codel that we should stop stamping our will, and in a reeaaallllyyy hippy kinda way, I'd like it if we could all just get along, and back tracking a couple of pages, I think ending religion and fair trade will help a little.
  5. Crack away mate. I've got the 1st of the 370z shirts done, I'll put it on my thread tomorrow.
  6. Although some of them on here don't use pressure washers stating that the high pressure can push dirt and grit in, and use only low pressure water. There are a couple of threads about peoples preferred methods, slow water, double bucket etc.
  7. I found a picture of an insurance premium calculator... It was dice but the picture link didn't work.
  8. Welcome along, and congratulations on convincing the SO, its fight I won December. Now we have monthly...er discussions about my Zeditus and how the thing she accepted through gritted teeth, really could use a rear spoiler, spacers...the list goes on. Happy hunting
  9. I'm with you 100% about no soul. There is something about the sound of an engine that makes cars awesome.
  10. Legally speaking you don't need reverse lights at all, they don't form part of an MOT, they're there for courtesy and to illuminate in the dark only. At one point yank tanks didn't have them at all. In terms of light strength for your fogs, they need to be as bright as your brake lights, but again, there is no equipment used on your mot to verify this. Your indicators MUST be orange in colour when flashing. And you can fail an MOT for 'light seriously affected by another bulb'. So if you have combined reverse/hazard strips and they stop being orange when you reverse, that's a fail. Personally I'd scrap the reverse light and concentrate on indicators and fogs.
  11. I think it's difficult to get that good quality at night as simple things like how clean your windscreen is have an effect, esp on on coming glare. But at night it still has enough detail to pick out the important bit, numberplate, distance, lights working etc. In situations where you can get sideswiped, there is enough light from other traffic to cut out the halo. Its not the kind of quality you'd see on tv or go pro quality, but for what their purpose is its fine.
  12. A lack of vibration mean you're probably not having fly wheel issues. Swapping the clutch might not even fix it. Can you get underneath while someone works the clutch if you have access to a ramp? It might be easier to locate the noise from underneath.
  13. Aby vibration thought the clutch pedal when you do it slowly?
  14. That would look quite nice with the blue paint actually.
  15. They're rubbush on a crashqai too, you have to remove the inlet before you can see the coils.

    Sh#t Magnet

Which is why I keep bird poo wipes in the zed.
  17. That's an image I didn't need. The SO tried telling who to vote for the other day, her logic being she wasn't working until midnight when it was labour. My response of you weren't head of English back then didn't go down well.
  18. I agree. Esp since you have spacers on order. I'd lower first with the spacers before looking at replacement wheels. Zippypoos does great facelift wrapped reflectors, you can find them on the member traders section. Its a nice tidy car you got there though.
  19. Things I wont do involve heights, climbing (although i did it and hated it), skydiving and I agree about the rodeo...my poor plums.
  20. Yeah but it was lovely and frosty this morning
  21. I'm a man, every time I iron its extreme.
  22. If you've got climate control it will warm up quickly then just drop down again. So if you have it set to as cold as it'll go and the inside is 14 degrees (rough example), and you set it to 19, it'll blow hot to quickly raise the temp to the desired setting then should maintain it. However if it just keep getting hotter, then you may have an issue
  23. I've done a surprising amount of those. Not jumped out a plane or bungee jumped, I'm not great with heights.. as I learned rock climbing lol. Qualified scuba diver though.
