  1. As the cars get older it seems the mega low mileage models get more and more expensive..
  2. Understandable really, low mileage motors come up every so often just keep your eyes peeled. Try not to let the wrong colour seats put you off if you find the right motor, a few hundred quid will get you a set in a different colour and they are changed easily.
  3. Welcome, Have a check of the 'zeds for sale' section on here.. There's a few nice motors for sale (including mine haha). Gt4's are getting rare so they would be a decent buy if you can find one
  4. I can answer one of the questions: The oil pressure gauge isn't 100percent accurate no, but it does what it's meant to and gives you an indication of what's going on. Even though I've got a DE, there is still a good argument for the later HR model instead. The power of course, the bonnet bulge which looks great but there is also the interior, and the headlights are better.. And generally the newer and lower mileage models mean less wear and tear items like bushes etc will need replacing. I was like you, and don't do much mileage at all. That's the reason I didn't go for a newer one, I wasn't too fussed about more power but liked the idea of cheaper tax As for mechanics etc I've found that the zed is pretty straight forward to work on, and so I've used my trusted mechanics to handle mine the majority of the time and they haven't struggled.
  5. In all honesty a HR would be the best option for you as they have a few nice extras, a bit more power etc.. They do have their drawbacks as oil gallery gaskets are prone to failure and the tax is the new band (500+) but that's no real issue in the end.
  6. Hello people, I've loved owning this car but with the purchase of a new home and business being so busy I do not have the time to drive the car. It seems it's time to let the car go to someone who will enjoy it.. Details of the car: 2004 350z DE GT spec Gunmetal 92k with service history, last service from less than a hundred miles ago. Previously serviced for me by jct600 (personal friend is a mechanic for them and personally looked after the car for me) Recently had all oils changed (diff, gearbox and engine oil at jct) All tyres have plenty left on them. 2 keys 'Z' indicators Satin 'z' badges Upgraded power bulge bonnet Full nismo kit consisting of full front bumper, side skirts, rear spats and spoiler Lowered on eibach springs and wheel spacers 19 inch fuel racing staggered alloy wheels Rear arches professionally rolled Mishimoto induction kit with heatshield Aftermarket pioneer touch screen with DAB/bluetooth etc. Electronic throttle controller New less than 100 miles ago: Japspeed k4 dual exhaust system from the cats back Ultra racing w brace and brand new kidney brackets 7twenty camber arms and traction rods Front dotted and grooved discs and Projectmu pads Fresh oil and oil filter Rear arb and other parts removed, powdercoated and refit Fully treated and undersealed professionally using bilt hamber products. When in the garage absolutely everything has been checked over for anything that needs repair/replacement and it is in great condtion. Rear aches have been restored at G&A Spence restoration specialists and had the following work done: Rear arches stripped Isolated rust removed with new metal welded in, zinc primed and treated. Full cavity waxoyl injection 'Stonechipped' on the inner arches and between bumper and wing before paint to ensure no rubbing or stonechips can cause rust in future. I have listed the above to be truthful and honest about the car, but I also believe it is a good selling point for a car of its age as more and more of them are suffering from rust. After the work that I have had done I would not expect to see an issue for some time Lots more photo's available just ask if you would like to see more.. With all cars there are a few small negatives which I will now list, I will fix these if I can, but I think I have reflected these issues in the asking price: Wheels have a few scabs and could do with a refurb 2 small stonechips in windscreen but not dangerous or cracked (have been filled previously as they were there when I bought the car) Apart from that the car is a real head turner and I have tried my best to look after it. I may have missed some points so please feel free to ask if there is anything more you would like to know. The car has had around 2k spent on it very recently as listed above. Mot is due in december. The car has been overhauled and it can have a fresh ticket for the buyer as it will sail through Asking price is £6500, considering what has been spent on this very recently I think it would be a great buy for someone. Located in bradford - new house in Wakefield so either is accessible.
  7. I guessed he meant 'standard fit / width'... I may be speaking out of turn but it sounds like either a bump or a fight with rust. Either way there isn't a fibreglass option that I'm aware of. Best bet is to either buy new from nissan, buy carbon fibre and have a pro fit them or see if zmanalex has some good condition arches/ arch cuts that can be used
  8. Nissan want 500 per side approx. Can't remember how much the siebon carbon fibre ones are but they are a bit more. As far as I know I couldn't find any alternatives apart from those

  10. I'm taking my zed for a drive tonight I think.. I've been feeling like an m3 next haha But yeah condition and mileage should be the thing to go for unless you get your heart set in a specific model.
  11. I live in bradford and trip over that way frequently if I'm taking my zed out for a run, sometimes I don't get further than Keighley though. Check the recent posts and have a read of the HR vs DE thread that's going about.. Loads of opinions on there but generally they are all good engines / variants. HR is the newest and a bit quicker with some other other extras like bulge bonnet etc. Mpg is not great on the zed but I think it would be a little better than the m3. Depends how you drive it really
  12. I have the bigger version so can't compare it to the smaller one. The bigger version is a little bit loud to be fair but it isn't on all the time only when it's needed. They will all be fairly loud as it's basically a high powered fan. Skip toward the end of this video and listen to this:
