  2. Hey Everyone, Please have a look below to find all details ITEM : Here we have a Nismo V2 replica front bumper with canards painted in WV2 paintcode. CONDITION : 7.5 out of 10. Overall as the pictures will show its in good condition as far as FPR products can be. It does have scrape marks under the lip but they arnt deep. It does have stone chips on the front grill area and two spider web cracks either side which pictures show. I'm being completely honest here it would benefit from a blow over to restore it to a 10/10 condition again. You can see from the pictures its an excellent fit being very tight on all hangers. LOCATION : West Sussex POSTAGE / COLLECTION : This is collection only guys, sorry but I'm not prepared to trust it to any postal or courier service! I am willing to travel within certain distances if needs be PRICE : There are a couple options here. If you have a replica Nismo N1 bumper then i'll happily straight swap / looking for £150 please, this is a near £300 pound bumper when new / OR if you have a standard WV2 bumper and lip then I'll happily straight swap for that too! My reason for sale is I'd like to go down a different direction styling wise PICTURES : Please look through my build thread or if you'd like PM me and I can literally send you hundreds of pictures from multiple angles
  3. Have you actually Googled just exactly what has to come off to reach the oil pump and timing chain? The oil pumps driven by the crank and yes there have been issues on older De engines. But unless youve spent the lSt month revving it off the limiter then I just cant see it.
  4. Not that I think you've burnt through 4.7Ls but the older DEs are known to burn oil excessively if driven hard. The dipstick is also pretty difficult to read. As Ive said, I don't think hes got a clue what hes talking about.
  5. Sounds like a load of rubbish to me and the garage don't know what they're talkig about. None of my local garages would even consider touching the chain let alone saying it was a 200 quid job lol. Id hazard more of a guess that its low on oil due to the dip stick being so difficult to read. And ive been quoted around 1500 for a timing chain. Id jump at 200 lol
  6. Ohhh I like the 350z indicators + DRLs! Wiring side how do they wire in to the indicators?
  7. Tis a learning ECU. Needs to be mapped!
  8. Pleased you're happy dude! Dont let Rocket Rabbit see you've bought cheap Chinese copies. End sarcasm

    MPG

Was that taken sat cruising at about 60/70 in 6th boss?
  10. Can I leave my Mini round yours for a year - save all the agro of an engine swap @ OP - Main thing is to listen for leaks, whistling or sucking type noises, other than that it could be a failed ECU or throttle body, seen that happen before but only when the TB was moved with the battery disconnected. It got regularly hand cranked to keep oil circulation good but you know it never reaches full pressure. You should've seen the cloud of smoke when it hit VTEC for the first LOL. Yay for dry pvc valves
  11. Exactly what Ekona said. Typically sitting is pretty harsh on a car. I left my old Honda sat in the garage one year due to salty roads. Went in running spot on and came out running like a cammed V8.
  12. The important question is, have you gotten it insured and enjoying it!?
  13. Welcome! Clutch horror stories on the DE, oil gallery gaskets are known to be just as bad on the HRs
  14. Typically that sounds like a vacuum leak around the throttle body which is throwing the system off. Which is causing the rev hunting
  15. Because for 20 quid it could potentially save anymore damage being done. It did on my old Honda when the oil pump let go, caught a lovely nugget. Got a mishimoto (spelling) on mine and im pretty sure it got the same pull pound for pound as the moon. Relatively small sumps on zeds make for catching any nastys quite easy
  16. The one on the back of the engine is the easy one IMO. No connecting pipes and just two 10/12mm bolts. I personally found the plenum side one the most difficult due to the vacuum formed tubing. Be careful because you will leak fuel!

    Brake Judder

Worked for me Ekona If anything I always give them a good braking session now and they feel smooth if that makes sense Definitely going to whip the rears off and clean them too
  18. And yet Im sure that some of your best memories have happened on those 5-10 summer days
  19. As much as I do miss driving the Z, and I do, it's been bloody refreshing not having to worry about it. Not worrying about the salt, not worrying about some little hoik pinching the badges, and Ive saved a nice wedge in fuel moneys which will now become modifications money! Roll on those late summer evenings where it's warm till late
  20. Honda civic was called "Lilly" the civic 350z is called "Nelly" Honda rudelude is called "Polly" Never understood why guys call there cars male names... "Like oh yeah I took Barry out for a good ragging last night"... Did you now... Although the neighbours will testify that lately both cars have been called "that bloody car"
  21. Used one of the juicy range fallout removers from Steveo and was very impressed. But my god, why do these all smell like hells arsehole!?
  22. I don't know what your problem is mate but the majority of posts I've seen from you are overly aggressive and self righteous, there's no need to attack people because you disagree with them. Thankyou! Literally thought this this morning. This entire topic is littered with overly aggressive posts slamming Jerrick and his products.
  23. I never even considered you could fit a short shifter to the 350s! Are there any differences between DEs and HRs? I think ive found my next mod 😆
