Olly's facelifted GT. Sun burn, shows and new exhaust!
Olly350z replied to Olly350z's topic in Member Build Projects
Blasphemy! Whats an exhaust bung! Who are you and what have you done with Davey! Ill get it fitted with a small silencer, just enough to tone it down for normal driving but still able to wake the dead at WOT. Sounds so similar to a R35, that worrble is addictive -

UPDATES So I purchased my third exhaust system, a Japspeed K1... Holy mother of God It's so freaking loud. It does sound absolutely epic mind, but I'll definitely be getting a small silencer put into just quieten it down a tad. Likes to pop the odd flame now! And in all of the lovely weather we've had this week, I've spent every day cleaning it to the best standard possible. It's now ready for JDMcoombe on the 10th of June! Very impressed with Autoglyms latest HD wax So for future modifications, I'll be looking to pick up Rear and side window lourves Facelift headlights Coilovers Wheels Shortshifter Ultra racing W brace HR or a vented Bonnet and getting it remapped finally Till then -
Repost Was discussed at length and the general thought process was what a death trap!

These guys know what they're saying buddy, these cars are notoriously difficult to bleed, found that out myself the hard way. Have you adjusted the pedal movement? Doing this might allow you to bleed the system easier as its letting more fluid pass

Can confirm fitment issues regarding japspeed products, ive owned two of there exhausts and both suffered issues. The key issues are tips not being symmetrical, and resting on the W brace Recently fitted there K1 system and absolutely love the tone and pitch, but its just too bloody loud. Either or im getting old! Wìll have an extra silencer added to it snd it'll be perfect then

No! Hurry up!!!

What's the deal with times and convoys etc? Anyone heading up from Chichester way that fancies convoying?

So ok, Ill ask this question to you all, the senior members of this forum. At 25 Im at the lower end of the age demographic on here, which personally I like as it always means there's knowledge to be passed down, the whole been there, done that cliché saying comes to mind Did you, when you were my age feel as despondent with how things are / were? Is it a generational thing that we've all gone through, and will go through? Or is it getting worse as the years go by? There are many many aspects that I feel in regards to the election, the events in Manchester, last month at Westminster and more that make me feel "Whats the point, we're damned if we do and damned if we dont" As said, not inciting political debate or anything, just genuinely interested. I dont have any family to discuss this with

With election day looming, and waking up to the horrific events last night, I find myself sitting here thinking "Whats the point, nothing changes?" No matter who we vote for, we wont see change. We wont see a difference that we could look at, we could feel. It'll all stay the same. The only thing we're guaranteed is more empty promises and miss information. And then we'll hear that he was a disillusioned young man, who'd been radicalised like its something normal. We'll hear that he was known, but they couldn't act because of his human rights. All the time, just like everytime, forgetting those affected. The innocent. Those who like myself, couldn't honestly give a monkeys who you are or where you're from. Because at the end of the day, we're all the same. Not trying to start a political debate or anything, just the thoughts of a very confused chap which this world has his head in his hands most of the time..

Depending on the brand its more then likely a oil pressure / temp sensor hole on the side, mishimoto (spelling?) For example have this It could be just loose as the sandwich plate screws on like the traditional oil filter would. Lets hope its just that eh!

Looks terrible. Owner stalks my IG too

Been following this as it really is such a blow for all those involved. Cant imagine the absolute devastation when you really add up whats been lost. Mate of mine who runs his own MOT station estimates his snap on collection at 15K, and his words were it'll be nothing compared to a garages like that Then theres the unit, peoples wages, the tools, the cars everything else involved. Doesnt bare thinking about it.

Now just wait for the sun to be out, roof down on the way to a local meet, then you'll have a smile like a Cheshire Cat

Id say Rich has hit the nail on the head and summed this up perfectly. Mine looked awful for the first couple of days but looks apot on now. Had all the little bubbles and lines like yourself. Id leave it to settle and dry out a tad first. Also, not sure if the roadsters have them but do not use your rear demister for the first couple weeks!

But have you scientifically proven using a wind tunnel on a gyroscopic turntable that that boot handle does actually provide the downforce for harsh deacceleration, and well, shutting the boot?
-
That looks spectacular buddy, definitely think one of these will be the next car on the list!
-
Possible youve got an engine mount on the way out? Or perhaps gearbox leaning backwards causing lift to the engine? Thats where Id look first, not much else that could be upsetting the positioning?

video at last of the 1/6 Challenger Tank crushing the rc car lol
Olly350z replied to JEMAN's topic in Off Topic Discussion
No way! Mark had said that he'd sold several to the MOD but I never thought id see one! Definitely an awesome back story to that Are you on the UK tank clubs forum at all? They do shows up and down the country, duxford, war and peace at kent and bovington. Used to go myself, they were brilliant! -

Kit allowing Iphone to be mirrored on the 370z nav screen
Olly350z replied to W8BGS's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
That is awesome, never knew the 370z came with those inputs! How accurately is it reading the data? I assume its piggybacking of what the ECU is being sent? -
If you had a clue about then you'd know that the 370z indicators actually sit proud of the lip that the original badges sit in, as they're actually a larger diameter then stock. And Ill be sure to let the body shop know that a 20 year old who has no clue in bodywork has deemed his work, small and inefficient. OP im done wasting my time here with HE MAN, if you'd like accurate pictures and dimensions tomorrow then PM me. Or listen to Strudul who hasnt done it but knows better then everyone else HE MAN AWAY
