Hmmm... Why would the bearing be making an intermittent noise? Would the tap,rap,tap underfoot be consistent with CSC going faulty...?

Had the car a few weeks now and got a few miles under the belt..About 400 i would say... Car has developed a funny noise/feel on the clutch pedal...Its intermittent but can hear a grating noise thats in tune with a tapping/vibrating under foot when the clutch is depresssed.. Like i say,its not there all the time,but when it is it feels awful. Likely to be dual mass flywheel or release bearing ?? Anything else ?? Not great at 7900 miles

It is superb and gives great beading and water sheeting.... Euro car parts sell it too...... When the deals are on you can get it for £6 and pennies a bottle delivered.... Insanely cheap..

The best i have tried (and i have tried most) is Sonax brilliant shine detailer... It is quite awesome... Followed closely by 50 cal stealth detailer.... Which can be bought cheaply in 5 lt tub..... Comes with a free bottle that has a great spray nozzle on.

Hi Neil. I had an E34 B10.. Although i have had many E39's in various guises i never had a B10 V8. Although i very nearly bought Gary Parks B10 V8 with the plate B10 ALP on many years ago... That was as close as i got. I help run a 5 series forum so know plenty about the V8 and V8s. They are a superb car,and on the rise price wise,just keep your eye on the rust and consumables,water system and they have been known to do the odd headgasket. They are getting on a bit now so check that every button works,and the autobox drives smoothly. A well cared one is a marvelous thing....One of the best cars ever built IMHO..

Yep.. First thing i did actually as the TPMS light was on as one tyre had dropped to 27psi..

Yea.. Totally agree, but had loads of 2 seaters in my time,namely Z4's recently and although you will never escape noise I think that it's quite bad on the 370. Perhaps it's because it's on the original bridgestones and them now being 4 yrs old are particularly hard? Perhaps I'm more averse to tyre noise than I previously thought ? Dunno.. I feel I need to do something though

I'm thinking of doing the sound deadening panels and maybe some kind of foam in the arches... That along with a different set of tyres seems to be the best things to do. Real shame as the cabin noise is so intrusive it is not really acceptable.. One downside to what is a great car...

Wow that's a pretty unique car to have owned here in the UK. I remember when I was signing on once in between jobs & I was driving a my96 JDM Subaru Impreza (pics a couple of pages back), ....pretty sure back then they all thought I was a drug dealer. Ha ha Same effect but different era i guess....lol.. I thought i was a fat ginger Burt Reynolds at the time....

Man.... i have had load of V8's..... V10's are are a different game though... I had a 1977 Pontiac Firebird transam when i was 24..... Lost my job and went to sign on with it..... Was a great sounding car though!

You know i didnt have any real faults with the M5.... It had a healthy appetite for fuel and oil...... It was very quick,it had 536 bhp apparently but had to work for it. My last XKR was a match i reckon,465bhp with an upgraded supercharger pulley. It was awesome,but was doing 12-13mpg.....And we have had a bit of a change in situation so needed something that would do a bit more mpg..

Sonax brilliant shine detailer is probably the best QD i have used. Its a little "thick" going on but the shine and beading afterwards is very impressive..

I will pop up the last 10 years or so.... No pics of my R32 Skylines,GT4's....Corolla Twin cams,Glanza turbo or 300ZX TT.... I just didnt bother at the time.. All have been good fun in there own way..

I did wonder if you'd maybe had a Alpina BMW previously going from your username. We're all petrolheads (of some description) on here so all makes are usually of interest to most. Oh.... Set device for Audio ?..... I have an Iphone,so try and set the audio on the phone via bluetooth ? As you can tell,im not that tech savvy
