Welcome! How much did they want for the replacement key out of curiosity?

I do believe in a (possibly infinite) multiverse. Evident by the fact that there does seem to be some kind of energy soup beyond what we believe is the border of the known universe. I'm a subscriber to the theory that the 'universe' is actually much larger than we perceive (or call it an omniverse if you like), in which universes (as we describe them currently) are bubbles in this energy soup bursting into existence (bubbles created by big bangs, which are actually 'reverse sucks', or a universe being sucked outward) and potentially dissipating or popping out of existence later. This is one of very few reasonable explanations for the accelerating expansion of the universe that we perceive. Whether or not this soup has a boundary or not is up for debate, but I believe it has limitless universe creation power, i.e. universe bubbles will keep popping in and out of existence forever, or rather, infinitely. However, I cannot believe that anything is infinite in size, it just seems too improbable, but then our minds haven't really evolved to the point where we can absorb such concepts and process them in an appropriate way, plus I doubt I will be proved right or wrong within my lifetime, so it remains pure theory. Important side note: Infinite is a funny word. It turns the entire universe upside down and should be used with care. As soon as you start throwing the word around, you make the improbable inevitable. Something to consider if you believe in the infinite: If there are and/or 'will be' infinite universes, then it has either already happened, or definitely WILL happen, that an infinite number of people like you exist in an infinite number of universes where every decision you made (or was made for you) in your life, conscious or sub-conscious leads to a different tree of outcomes. In some versions, the only difference is the slight shade of a single hair on your head, in others, you are your people's Einstein. There are also an infinite number of people absolutely IDENTICAL TO YOU in every single way. This is guaranteed to be 100% true for every single one of us, if you believe in the infinite.

That's the one I first played, "Remastered", as i never played the original. I have to say it is one of the best games I've played. I ended up trading it in though as I completed it several times over so there was nothing new for me to do. I've contemplated buying GTA5 several times but I completed it on my PS3 so didn't see the point in getting it for the PS4 as I thought it'd just be like playing the same game again. Assuming you had it on the PS3 is it any different or better on the PS4? Graphics are obviously better and there's the option to play 1st person view as well as far more vehicles could be more missions also I also had it on ps3, on the subject of older platform games being remastered I really wish Sony would bring out a new wipeout game or remaster wipeout HD at least Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Agree completely re: Wipeout, wicked, wicked game. Imagine VR version.

Assuming you had it on the PS3 is it any different or better on the PS4? Personally, I'd say no. The most jarring limitation of consoles is common to both ps3 and ps4 and has only been partially addressed in ps4 pro; the frame rate. How many pixels make up the graphics makes less difference than the overall smoothness, which on PS4 is there in places but still patchy, just like the ps3 (I too have played it on both). If you're going to buy it again, make it for a grands worth of gaming PC, cos that WILL be like playing a different game completely. I wish I could have you over to try it, it's really something on a beastly rig, but yeh, if you're not a pc man, don't waste your money buying it again for slightly higher fidelity graphics.

The world is circling the toilet bowl, the brits voted brexit, the greeks voted against the EU bailout offer, the americans voted for trump, and basically.... The sky is falling on our heads! All we need now is a zombie apocalypse. Any other philosophical questions I can help you with today?

Cant upload photos file too big ?

I don't think a discussion with a single moderator would provide output useful to the management of the forum, but I appreciate the offer on a personal level. I also don't really think it's debatable (let alone an alternative fact or overstatement) that the feature is usable or not usable. The sheer number of people NOT using it is evidence enough, but here's an experiment you can conduct yourself...Take a photo of a car, then try to upload it to a post, let me know how long it takes you to get it down to the required size. Once again, if the upload limit is intended to discourage people from using it, that explains it, otherwise, it's just wrong, again not debatable, any IT professional will tell you that a file size limit of 256K is not intended for images of any kind. But, I appreciate things are tight, I know there isn't a lot of profit in these things, so here's another recommendation which I don't require or expect to be implemented, it's just a thought...have two levels of user, a platinum user and a free user, platinum membership costs 20 quid a year, and includes increased upload limits. I'd buy that! Everybody wins. Anyway, I have said everything I wanted to say on the subject, I won't beat the dead donkey, and once again, thanks for the acknowledgement that you are constantly reviewing this, no hard feelings whatever happens, this community is well maintained, well moderated and a genuinely nice place to be, NO CHANGES NEEDED! Well done to all the mods and management. EDIT: That's a good way to put it. -
Cant upload photos file too big ?

Understood, thanks for the consideration. Hope you may consider raising it in future, cos as it is, it's really almost unusable, might as well not exist (saving further storage). Ta! -
Cant upload photos file too big ?
Aashenfox replied to huseyin's topic in Site Suggestions & Feedback
I have myriad ways of storing my images, as you correctly expect, however, none of those methods is easily available to me from my corporate office without changing network or doing some naughty trickery. But like I said, this is the requests forum and I'm requesting it, not only that, but in a nice way, citing my reasons and in no way expecting it. I don't really appreciate being addressed like an entitled child asking for something unreasonable (but I can deal with it, lol). Someone **** in your corn flakes this morning? You can be sure that the forum has an overhead of space, a lot more than is currently used, because that's the nature of relational databases, they get bigger. So, what I propose, that won't cost a thing in the short term, is the following... Increase the limit to 500KB and see how it goes. If it turns out to cost too much IN THE LONG TERM, then consider getting rid of it completely, cos 256KB is useful to nobody. -
Cant upload photos file too big ?

Thanks mate. And also, Dan, take your pick from the following... 1) It's the done thing these days...this is the lowest internal attachment size I've seen! 2) It would be a nice convenience for the membership 3) Storage costs have surely been going down over the years, so I'd be willing to bet that to up this limit now will cost them no more than it did when the limit was first implemented. 4) Because this is the requests forum and I requested it (though as I already said, they are not obliged to acquiesce to my (again as I already stated 10% circumstance) request). -
Cant upload photos file too big ?
Aashenfox replied to huseyin's topic in Site Suggestions & Feedback
I already stated why (times change, data gets bigger and storage gets cheaper). But I can add another reason if you like. I surf here mostly from work, from which image hosting sites are mostly blocked. It's very inconvenient to have to make every image 800 x 600 in this day and age and jpg quality 4 or lower. Plus if the limit were higher, more people would use it and I'd be able to see more picture posts from the office. I know this a maybe 10% circumstance, but once again, this is the requests forum and I'm here requesting it, not demanding it. Or how about because we support the community, I click on banners often rather than donating, I do this on many sites I frequent. Doesn't cost me anything and helps the owners. Editing and cropping images does cost me time. If you need any more reasons, let me know. -
That's simply because they don't want people coming back telling them that the clutch makes a noise when engaged. It's minimal, only the most sensitive of people would be bothered by it, but the mechanics have to work with that 1% when giving advice, they can't risk comeback, especially in work that requires gearbox drop. Ask any owner who has switched, if they ever switched back (extreme ridiculous lightweight ones that made the car undriveable aside)? It really is a total no brainer, totally wakes up the car. I expected to have this noise that people talk about, but I don't, or rather is so quiet as to not be worth mentioning. Plus 'specialists' in my experience are usually averse to fitting non oem parts, period. Like I say they have to think about Joe Average and the complaints he's likely to have, we enthusiasts know what to expect.

Cant upload photos file too big ?
Aashenfox replied to huseyin's topic in Site Suggestions & Feedback
No you don't. I've worked in Datacenters, run my own servers and been an it professional for 25 years, that's why I said I'm well aware of the potential impact. This is nowhere near the most quiet enthusiast forum (and therefore generating least revenue from advertising and donations) that I frequent, but it does have the smallest attachment limit I've seen. Anyway, that's my suggestion and that's what this forum is for, management is in no way required to acquiesce to my request or justify their policy. They should however be aware that technology moves, data gets bigger and transferred faster, while 256k might have been enough for a phone pic back in the day, it isn't any more. Plus many users simply aren't savvy enough to resize pictures. Of course if the policy is purposely intended to save storage by forcing people to use third party solutions or be a master at optimizing images, congratulations, its working. -
Open wheel racing is an oxymoron. Touring cars are where its at.

I'm really surprised nobody has yet pointed out that the upload limit on posts is indeed draconian, workaround 3rd party hosting solutions aside, this needs to be increased to at least half a megabyte. P.S. Yes, I'm well aware of the potential impact on storage and hosting costs, may I suggest it's time to bite the bullet and do it anyway. -
Lil Wayne Drake Nicki Minaj Who is drake?? Hardly pop icons bro... Anyway, let's just agree to disagree.

My current favorite tune at the moment is galantis louder, harder, better, but I know that will be temporary until I get bored with it, but it's closely followed by Sigma rude boy and nobody to love, which I also know now will be classics in my collection. There isn't a bad track on 'Life'.

As Joey said in a favourite episode of friends, when he became an acting teacher for a short time...he turns around to the class and says... "Some of you are going to have to get a lot more attractive if you want to be on tv." If you aren't attractive, you'd better be mind blowingly amazing at what you do, otherwise you don't have a chance. Competition is such that there are enough beautiful people who are talented 'enough', to make it not worth bothering with the less beautiful people. I'm not supporting it, just stating the reality. You can still make it if you're not beautiful, but I admit it's a lot harder.

Not hating, I don't listen to their music because I don't care for it, who they are has no bearing on it (I still happily enjoy Lost Prophets and Nickelback among others). Just pointing out that you can achieve a large following and win awards without having any talent, even within the music industry *cough* grime *cough*. I don't listen to their music either, but that doesn't mean I don't respect them (I have trouble respecting Bieber, he's such a pratt, but his talent is undeniable), Swift has one or two tracks I wouldn't bother changing if they came on the radio, but I would never choose to listen to one of her tracks either. I was playing drums in a death metal band in 1995 (had one pro gig, wimbledon crypt), and still regularly listen to my old Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and other industrial and thrash metal when the mood takes me, but last year I was also thrilled by the comeback of euphoric house and drum n bass (Sigma, Galantis, Sigala), so my music tastes could not really be more diverse. I just don't see how you can say someone is talentless after making it to the top and staying there for TIME, do you really think it's so easy to be a pop icon?

You see everything and it's all good, and then you see that view. Holy hell.

There's only one place my car scrapes...you'll laugh... At the top of the entrance to my local Nissan service centre, it's like cresting Everest! MUPPETS!!!

New 350z owner . Any advice?
Aashenfox replied to Boothy_94's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
No advice except fix it how you like it, don't try to fight the inevitable onset of Zeditis. As a previous Honda enthusiast and more recently a fast BMW owner, I have found Zed ownership refreshing from the perspective that parts are cheap, easily sourced new and used, and usually easy to fit. The down side is that more power is tremendously expensive, but it's a great car stock anyway. Welcome! -
Congratulations, to me, that's 322,000 kilometers!! Amazing.

Losing credibility, don't be a hater. Swift and Bieber are talented (unless you're suggesting that chicken slapping is more important than musical talent?), spoiled bitch and punk kid or not, Taylor Swift's been a pro since she was a kid, I know she'd have a story or two worth sharing, that's all I was saying, and if she has, she'll know how to tell it, she's never come across as vapid to me.
