(Could potentially be valid if you bought it off an individual who bought it from an official reseller and has the original receipt, but you'd probably have to work together to use it. Seen this done before with buying used graphics cards and such.)

Funny, I was thinking about updating this just the other day. Not had any issues. Wheels haven't fallen off. Haven't noticed much difference in ride / performance. They still look good as new - the finish has held up really well

It doesn't. All it can do is attenuate the throttle input into the ECU (i.e press the pedal half way down and it will register all fully depressed), whereas the restrictions happen within the ECU and can't be adjusted without modifying the software (remap).

Zed prices never seem to make sense. There's "what they are worth", and "what people sell them for", with very little correlation between them. You see people slashing the price on their HR for a fast sale and selling them for £4k when they could easily get £9k. Then you get people who manage to sell their DE for £10k+ It's madness, but I think a lot of it it comes down to right place, right time (though condition and quality pays a big part).

It's all relative I guess - Depends if you compare it to a Ferrari or a Honda. For the performance, a GT-R is definitely great value (purchase and maintenance cost), but if you drive it hard you will quickly burn through tyres and brakes, and those things don't come cheap.

I'd say between £5k and £7k.

Placebo effect of increased acceleration and throttle response. There's a significant difference in throttle sensitivity, no doubt about that.

Out of curiosity, do you have a g-force meter on your phone? (Surely there must be an app that will record max G.) Would be interesting to see some comparison tests with it off and at max (spd 9?). - Cruise at say 20mph - Bury the throttle pedal as fast as you can - Note max G - Repeat and compare Would prove how much of it is placebo and mental unawareness on the initial jerk.

No amount of positive reviews will ever make me think these are worth the money. I can kinda see the appeal, but meh
