  1. Not sure on price and as far as effectiveness, YRMV, but there's plenty of legal kitty-friendly substances that you can spray on your cover should deter them, but won't harm them.
  2. Think this is the right one Or try PM ZMANALEX?
  3. You jammy......... That's exactly the part I've been trying to identify for the last 2 weeks!
  4. Get a repellent in either spray or doggy form? Or chuck a tarp over the top of the cover?
  5. Unless I'm missing something, that just gives a current valuation, not trends showing how the price has changed over the months / years?
  6. Tried looking for one of these a few times but never found anything.
  7. That's gotta be a typo? £10k for a hard drive????
  8. There's always the possibility it's a foreign body. Might go hassle a Nissan dealer or specialist. Surely someone has worked on these cars enough to have inadvertently memorised all the parts.
  9. Might be flogging a dead horse, but if you don't mind, read through the text in the spoiler.
  10. That part did not register Might not be of as much help as I'd hoped, but there might still be some similarity
  11. That is a sexy mustang :O Mind if I hijack this thread to ask you a question? Cheers
  12. Oooh, coolbeans. I take it it's a sweet spot where it won't be notchy while stationary either then? :o
  13. Admittedly it's primarily a 350 (and 370) forum, but I don't see why we couldn't have a few non Z's in. It's a forum calendar, and you traitors are just as much a part of it. Maybe not to be featured in the wall calendar, but somewhere in the weekly desk one?
  14. I did, but maybe I'm not understanding... Points 7 & 8 will make it all nice and aligned, but as the engine is off when it's aligned, won't it will be aligned for just that? When I'm moving you say there will be some flex that causes everything to change position. As such, won't it will be back out of alignment when moving. Or does following those steps align it with that in mind? I.e. has Nissan planned ahead and designed it so by lining it up with that notch it will be setup perfectly for when the car is moving etc. As such, will that mean it will be nice and smooth while driving, but trying to shift while stationary will be notchy (though obviously this is better than having it notchy while driving). Am I on the right lines here?
  15. Well the problem then is that I'm aligning the gate for the car when it's stationary, not for when it's moving. So if anything i need to set it so it's badly aligned while stationary... ?
  16. Interesting. I don't know enough and I'm curious - can someone enlighten me as to why would it make any difference when the car is moving? What is changing that could cause it to be misaligned but only while moving?
  17. Good looking car right there
  18. Cheers. However, thinking about it, can I discount this as a possibility since when I'm stationary (engine off or idling) it's silky smooth? If it was misaligned, then surely I'd have issues all the time, and it wouldn't be dependant on the revs?
  19. Ep4 was okay, definitely better than 1 and 2, but still got a lot of rubbish that needs sorting. Still don't get the point of the celeb bit. It's just a painful, unfunny waste of 5 mins. Worked out what "The American" is reminding me of: Which is why the Chris Harris section of new Top Gear are really good. It's entertaining AND about cars.
  20. I'm not disagreeing with the advice, but (for conversation's sake) I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm not in control most of the time. As badass as it'd be, It's not like I'm accidentally doing a reverse entry into every corner. With the ESP on, there is just sometimes a little slip for a fraction of a second if the surface isn't great, nothing out of control, and I wouldn't say unsafe, because I'm always half-expecting it and ready to deal with it. Having to swerve and stopping distances are another matter as Dan rightly points out. That being said, a crash can sometimes be unavoidable no matter how good your tyres are, though I agree better (and matched) tyres will reduce the risk significantly. I'm only running the OEM Rays (18" I believe).
  21. This is definitely worth a look. I heard (on the forum) that this can affect 5th/6th gear selection at least. If the box has been out then it seem a likely place to at least have a fiddle. Doesn't sound like it will help with 2nd though Would it be obvious if it wasn't located correctly? And how do you go about checking?
  22. Red stitching as well as nicer leather and Alcantara I believe.
