  1. Oh cool, didn't realise those cars came with the orange flashy lights.
  2. I go to the DW gym in Byker when I'm in Newcastle for the weekend.
  3. You've got the front tow hook cover too, makes a bigger difference than you'd think Mine didn't come with one
  4. This is beginning to sound like that nursery rhyme...
  5. Oh well, you'll just have to get an M5
  6. Just to clarify, the updated interior and exterior (minus the new hood) is on the 2005-2007 Rev-up DE too, so it's a good compromise.
  7. Welcome DE as an engine is just as reliable as the HR, but the HR has other components (such as CD009 transmission) which are more reliable. The FAQ should answer a lot of your questions and has some great guides.
  8. F&F4 was before F&F6. TD came after every other film apart from F7. So it'd be about how he got into drifting and so well respected in the scene.
  9. I'd take a guess at this one.
  10. Watch this I did hear about that, but I'd like a Tokyo Drift 2 (which would be a prequel to Tokyo Drift ) showing what happened in between F&F6 and TD - how he got to where he was.
  11. I can't be the only one who wants a film all about Han's life?
  12. I spent a year in Basildon and I couldn't believe how warm it was. Think it only went below 0oC once... It was permanently shorts weather.
  13. Sweet. Will chuck my microfiber in the Z so I can't forget it. That works perfectly for me. I'm pretty much free from 12 and will just be doing stuff in uni / gym. That's Lidl on Wakefield Rd, right (not the Castlegate one)?
  14. It's not a belt is it? If something has seized and the belt is being forced round it it'd smell like burning rubber. I'd have thought there'd be a terrible squeal to go with it though.
  15. Afraid unrealistic and not possible my friend. I beg to differ. (Left 03-05, Right 06+) Considering the Grand Am car: On one hand they've done a lot of weight saving you'd struggle to do on a road car, but on the other hand, they would have also had extra weight from parts that aren't required on a road car. Plus they were restricted by the min allowance, so they could have gone even lighter. And then there's this guy who managed 2725lbs / 1236.039kg and that's with a roll cage and a few things left to do. Bit of Google-fu on the potential improvements that guy can do: -Swap the boot and glass for CF + Lexan and you save 50lbs -Ti exhaust will save 50lbs -Lightweight headers and cats is probably another 20lbs -Replace doors and panels with fibreglass or CF -Other windows with Lexan -Cut out some metal bits Looking at sub 2600lbs / 1180kg.
  16. Would be awesome. Won't she want a car of her own as well though?
  17. You could get 4 Zeds for that, so 14L... Although you can get an LS400 for £500, so 36 of those... 144L?
  18. From here: Swap some panels for CF and the windows for plastic, gut the interior, replace everything for lighter components and you might manage 1200kg. Also see this guy's efforts.
  19. Saw you somewhere between Thorns and Horbury this morning at about 11am. Gave a wave but you looked preoccupied.
  20. I'd have to agree that buying it pre-done is a better idea. I'm sure there will be enough going wrong to keep you busy if you still want to get your hands dirty.
