If not done already, fit a good oil catch can, DE's are buggers for sucking oil up into the plenum, it may help reduce your problem.

Hi Tyreman, you would probably be better to start off with a standard Z first, then decide what mods you want to do on it, that way you will be sure of what you want and what your trying to achieve, Z33 Rs are great fun doesnt matter what flavour they come in. had great fun with my brolly top.

Hi, just exactly what is happening with the soft top, is it jamming part way through or just wont open or shut at all ?

This was really cool David, well organised event,and well priced even the food was affordable :-) Must do this again and get more Z, ers to come along, got some cracking ideas for doing bits and bobs in the future, the 300 ZX was stunning. I want the Gattling gun we saw hahahhaha. Cheers dave & Bro :-)

Pull it out 5 min job, check on the side of the chassis for a CLARION stamp, if it has one its a BOSE. well actrually Clarion lol

Volume too loud after buster mod? (Amp gain adjustable?)

The Bose (CLARION) amps run at 1ohms not 2 4 or 8, you need a pac-rom to put new headunit in correctly, the buster method just overdrives the amps on full chat and cant be adjusted. also the buster mod is pretty much the same as using an iso lead for the non amplified set up in a Z. there are some good how too's elsewhere on the forum to guide anyone when fitting new HU -

What a great venue for a club meet, had a smashing day out again, despite Bob nicking all the spare buns & butter at the evening gathering! :-) Cheers Andy and everyone else involved in setting up events like this you do us proud. -
