Good shout, Ill drop him a PM. Thanks

Evening guys, just wondering if there is anyone around the Milton Keynes area (Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire) that has coilovers on their car? My BC's have started to creak and I suspect its the common problem with these where they just need the preload adjusting/checking. Only issue is, the car had the coilovers when i bought it and the previous owner did not have the adjusting spanners. If anyone has a set and wouldnt mind meeting up with me this weekend sometime so I can adjust mine it would be much appreciated.

Got the car back from the garage now but heading out shortly. Bear with me and Ill get it weighed up as soon as possible.

Ok so I have just got the car back and it was confirmed that the flywheel was indeed fitted incorrectly before I bought it. Hooked the car up to Cipher and reset the ecu, drove sensibly and all seemed ok so ran the car over 3k rpm with no misfires etc. Pulled up and checked the codes again...nothing!! Set off and took it up to around 5k rpm with no issues blah blah blah. Checked codes again and nothing. All seems good again. I have a long journey to do tomorrow over various roads so will get to feel the true power of the Zed seen as its been under powered since Ive owned it! Many thanks to Mark@abbey for helping me out via email and also to the guys at Horsham that were liaising with CMC Tuning to help them diagnose.

Just received a call from the garage, it looks like the DMF that was fitted to the car last year has 5 possible ways to install it. It was in fact fitted around a 1/4 turn out of alignment. They are now re-fitting the gearbox and I can collect the car after work. Hopefully this gets rid of these 2 codes once and for all. Will update the misfire thread if it also cures that problem too which Im hoping it will. Fingers crossed.

No problem mate. The car was supposed to be out of the garage on Monday evening but is still there and wont be back until hopefully tomorrow night now. I will hopefully get it weighed tomorrow and get some quotes for you.

Hi mate, I have one here you can have. I can get the wheel as far south as Dunstable if that would be of any use to you? If not I will have to weigh it and get it priced up for courier.

I heard about this happening alot with these lights. When I got mine I used silicon sealant to go around all the joins and I noticed that some parts were not sealed correctly from the factory. After sealing them myself I have seen no issues with condensation or water inside. Ive now had them fitted for 6 months throughout the rainy British winter and used the car daily and never been garaged. Personally I would remove them get them dried out and then go over all the joins with your own silicone sealant and I dare say you wont have any more dramas.

Without wanting to stir anything this is a genuine question. What did you actually use to adhere these to the window? I have a roof spoiler I need to fit now the weather is slightly warmer.

I believe my mechanics spoke to the guys at Horsham today with reference to my Zed and the flywheel. They said you were very helpful but when they got the bore cam through the inspection hole they couldn't really see much to indicate if it was in the correct position. Not enough to say 100% either way. Due to this reason I have simply asked them to drop the box and then they will know categorically. The guys are very busy at the moment and were very helpful by squeezing me in to have a look. With Japfest fast approaching they are keen to get me back on the road with a working Zed so they will be in the workshop on Easter Monday to remove the box and take a look for me. Question is, would it be best practice for me to order a new flywheel for them to install? If the flywheel has been misaligned for so long then could this cause any damage to unit?

Just chucked the old girl into the garage to have the flywheel alignment checked. Hopefully find out this afternoon or tomorrow whether this is the case. Fingers crossed!!

Spotted a silver 350 roadster parked up outside a house in Evelyn Road in Dunstable earlier today. Anyone here?

Nice looking Zed, love those lights

Personally I don't like the rocket bunny kits but other kits modified with the rocket bunny arches (when done professionally look great) this is just however my opinion. I find that rocket bunny kits on any car are marmite. You either love it or hate it. Its good to get opinions of others but unless you are looking to specifically please other people then just go with your gut. If you like it and will look back at it everytime you park up and think 'I love it' then does it really matter what us lot think? If you do go rocket bunny are you going rocket bunny spoiler aswell?? If so then can I pretty please have first dibs on your current V2 rear spoiler? as I have been after one of these for quite sometime now!

Depends on where you are located, there is a breakfast meet down in Yate/Bristol 14th May if you can make it down there. I shall hopefully be heading down to that one. -

Welcome back although I see just one problem...You say above you are sharing...but I see no pictures -
Depending on the health of the car and when it is I may or may not be able to attend. The most likely option is that I shall be along for a natter and a gawp as hopefully I get my car sorted in the next week or 2 then try and get fitted in for an UpRev at Abbey soon after. Just for your SA I have run successful dyno days with Club VR4 at Eurospec in Guildford and Area 52 up Nottingham way. Both offer a brilliant and professional service and offer competitive prices too. Eurospec also has a butty wagon there for dyno days Just an idea depending on which area most of the interest comes from. As I say depending on date I may be able to make it down but will only be for a natter.

I have a similar kind of problem with mine although I get no lights etc. It throws up codes for various sensors but after swapping all of these no change. I too changed the chain but again no change and same codes. My next port of call is getting the flywheel checked for misalignment. Has yours had a clutch/flywheel change recently?

Olly's facelifted GT. Sun burn, shows and new exhaust!

I think the Nismo Ver1 is the name of the genuine product and the N1 is the name of the non genuine copy version. At least thats what I glean from what Ive seen online -
Thanks mate, hope to god now its the Flywheel otherwise Im going to have to start thinking about potential compression issues etc. I have run a cylinder power balance test and the results across all cylinders were near as damn it the same so either there are no issues with any of the cylinders or they are all naffed 😂
