  1. After wanting a pair of these I Googled the part number (999M1ZPEUR) & found the following http://www.bartontow...cial-Offers.pdf After a call to Michael in their parts department he confirmed they had 6 sets, all new in the genuine packaging & they were only £65 for the pair. Mine arrived today after an extra £5 postage & confirm they are as you'd expect. They do have 5 sets left, so if you're after some, get these before they go.
  2. You say the dash is showing the temp as fine, so what's making you suspicious? My gauge shows a bit under halfway, I occasionally hear the Mishimoto fans come on if in heavy traffic. If the stat was an issue (i.e stuck closed) the temp would continue to climb.
  3. Previous owner of my Z had this stage 1 kit & SMF conversion from Clark Motorsport early last year, I'm assuming it's the same flywheel as in Ewan' post? The pedal is never going to be super light, it's firm, but a comfortable firm. Can feel a little grabby at times & will never be as silky smooth as a DMF & standard clutch.
  4. Spotted parked up whilst I was visiting ex-colleagues. I'm sure I've seen it there before. From a distance I'm sure it had a big spoiler & the bottom centre of the front bumper was black, also aftermarket wheels I think.
  5. Still after a good pair of these if anyone has them.
  6. You will need the patience to correctly bleed the system. Replace the line with a braided steel one if you can, I got a HEL one from Horhsham Developments on here.
  7. Thanks Jon, It's packed up ready to go back to him anyway. Just hope you or someone would have a good pair with all clips in place to sell .
  8. Bought a pair from an ebay seller, only 1 side had 2 broken clips so they were useless. Looking for a pair of the mostly silver ones to replace my black ones. Collection from Mancunia, or will travel a short distance or just take postage.
  9. Had my eye on the B1 for a while now (much cheaper than the Rota's), are they a direct bolt on (with tyres), no need for spacers, on an 05 with Brembo's all round?
  10. Roadster Fairlady with a spoiler heading south on the M6 this morning just before the start of the toll road north of Birmingham. Had a pearl white paint job or wrap, couldn't really tell. I was in stealth mode in the works van. End of the reg I'm sure was DND.
  11. In the past I've used the Gliptone twins. Their leather conditioner smells awesome. Today I used Dr. Leather wipes to clean the seats, neither of which were dirty. The used Juicy Details leather conditioner to treat the leather. The gripe I have with perforated seats is the conditioner tends to 'stick' inside the holes in the seat. I had numerous brushes, so once it was absorbed the residue went along with a wipe down. No complaints so far, seats are more than supple.

  13. Maybe some pie key was after the cats, as they do..? I dunno...
  14. Just seen this whilst Googling, is it going to happen? Looks like a bit of engine bay bling.
  15. What are the manufacturers part numbers for these plugs (Iridium, NGK etc)? The standard ones on the Z are the same as my old 406 Coupe, the PLFR5A-11 (6240). I keep reading up about the Denso Iridium ones though. Any part numbers will be appreciated.
  16. Got myself a set of these off ebay. Went with the black with orange stitching. Handbrake one seemed huge & a bit of a faff to get it fitted but I got there in the end. Ordered Thursday & they arrived today, excellent service & such a cheap mod to do. http://www.mrv6.co.u...tomsgaitor1.jpg http://www.mrv6.co.u...tomsgaitor2.jpg

    Berk HFC.

Morning all, I'm looking at buying a pair of Berk HFC for my DE, I'm now reading mixed reviews over whether it'll throw up the EML. Some people say they've not had any issues, others say they have, which is concerning me a little. My current system is an ARK Grip cat back. Also the noise level may be an issue to some owners?
  18. Thanks everyone, least it's not been cobbled together, it certainly doesn't look like it has been. It looks like the front end of the ARK system the previous owner had fitted, although mine certainly isn't as shiny as this one: http://www.arkperformance.com/ARK-GRiP-Nissan-350Z-03-08-p/sm0900-0030g.htm
  19. Thanks. In my first post I did mention the Y pipe. Sorry to confuse matters, but that's what I'm referring to. I see 2 cans on my car but not on genuine used systems on eBay. That's why I thought perhaps mine were aftermarket.
  20. Cheers for that. Here's a system on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350z-Factory-Standard-Original-Exhaust-Y-Pipe-and-Cats-/232191771846?hash=item360fb544c6:g:hqYAAOSwjDZYZ9gq The 2 cans just in front of the W brace have a heat shield on the ebay one, I thought I may have had something different added.
  21. I've just been looking at some Youtube vids & snooping around on ebay & found plenty of what look like the standard rusty looking Y pipe. I've just been looking through some pics of my system on the phone & mine seems to look a bit different. I'm assuming these aren't standard & may well be aftermarket / high flow cats? I've not managed to get under it for a while so wouldn't be able to tell you if they have any branding on them. Fitment & everything seems spot on with them. Ideas please: http://www.mrv6.co.u...24_arkgrip2.jpg
  22. I did an oil change on the Z on 9/10/16 & have covered about 2000 miles since. I filled up the oil till it was bang on the max mark on the dipstick. I did to my dipstick prior to this & I have to say for me it's made reading the oil level so much easier. But I don't seem to be experiencing any high oil consumption. I'm not complaining at all, it was just everything I was reading lead you to believe you needed to top up in silly amounts very often. Is this down to the characteristic of each engine & depending on how well it's been looked after?
  23. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113045-video-ginger-350z-salford-ov54xxx-testing-its-suspension/ I had this bloke pass me in traffic last night, lots of traffic & he was travelling at a rate for about 100yards till we hit the lights. I turned right & as I pulled along side him gave him a couple of toots on the horn, we saw eachother & all I got was a scowling look . It was definitely the same guy as in the above video as it was the same junction, only going the other way.
  24. I also fitted the 648 & 1173 belt & all is fine. Have you checked that the proper part numbers are also printed on the belts, not just the cardboard sleeve they come in?
