  1. I am guessing it wasn't someone on here that bought this? I went to have a look as its local, was in a fairly tatty state and the gearbox sounded horrendous when off the clutch in neutral.. I was also hunting for 18's not 19's so the wheels were a negative to me, guessing from peoples comments they would have easily covered the costs of a set of 18's though?! Mark It's been sitting in my garage for a week or two now, the gearbox noise is the release bearing the Nismo wheels have been refurbished diamond cut rims and dished centres, the front bumper was removed and damage sorted nothing broken. The interior is in good condition, when ordered from new this Z had all the options the Nismo exhaust sounds wonderful and in excellent condition. When I decided to buy it was working on the assumption that the wheels and exhaust are worth 3k so an HR for 7K was cheap. Nice one! Are you still local or did you travel to buy it? Mark
  2. Love my Invidia Gemini system, no rasp at all, i do get some 'drone' as I go through 1900-2000 rpm ish (not paid quite that much attention to it), but this means at motorway speeds in 6th there isn't any drone at all, actually at 70 I can't hear the exhaust. However at 60 in 6th the revs are that bit lower and around the 'drone' area, but drop it to 5th and it's no issue. I haven't done very many miles with it as yet, maybe 200-300 so it could still be bedding in and that 'drone' may go. I would suggest if you can get along to a meet in your area and listen to what people have installed on their motors Mark
  3. Welcome fella, this is certainly the right place to come for advice! Very many useful folks on here! Mark
  4. Welcome along fella and good luck with the hunt!!
  5. I presume they didn't just carry out the extra work and called you to authorise it? What exactly did they claim to do to clean the fuel and 'oil' systems? I'm lucky to have a mate who owns his own garage in Buckingham, so I know I won't ever get work 'created' for any of our cars.
  6. To answer your question, 46mm from the top of the guard to the edge of the panel. (edge of panel not where the panel turns in, but there isn't much in that turn anyway). HTH, Mark
  7. Sounds good, I was just wondering if there was going to be anyone left from the south going in on the Sunday.. I'm a little further north though, in Milton Keynes, what route were you planning on taking from Hemel? Mark Back on the M1 pal then the A509. We can meet you somewhere en route of you like? There is a layby on the A509 just north of the M1 exit, it's (according to Google) 29 minutes from J8 and 20 mins from my house, so I can easily meet you there. If you let me know the vague time you plan to meet at Hemel and then Whatsapp me when you leave or something I can be there when you pass by

Mark I'm close to you buddy if you wanna meet up at the BP garage on the A428 / A509 roundabout? Hey fella, I'm heading up Sunday, thought you were camping? I'll see you on the 7th though, coming to kbad's meet to meet some new faces Mark

  10. Hi, Another couple of questions, do you also have the horn relocator bracket and the replacement bumper brackets? Mark
  11. I bought it DOH! just sent it back too ! What was up with it? He made out like it would fit the std mid section, which I called him up on and he said he bought it but didn't use it so copied the listing... So claiming ignorance..
  12. I have bid on this and lost from the same seller, so I wonder why it has come back up again.. Brewman i've sent you a PM about this one, if you were to win it.. Mark
  13. Yeah I was waiting for a comment like that  But seriously, when i fitted it cold the position was really neat to the bumper, when warm i swear they are further out!! I'll have to take some pics..
  14. There are far more knowledgeable people on here than me, but from the bits I have gleaned it could be that the previous owner had an aftermarket head unit and wanted to wire in direct to the front speakers rather than using the amp as it needs 4V pre-outs from the headunit.. If you have the Bose system then yes, all the speakers run from the amp in the boot other than the sub, which I believe takes a signal from the other amp to the amp by it. The sub also seems to only run at full power when the fade is centered front to rear otherwise it fades down :-( You can download the audio system wiring manual from the link below, if you select your year and then the AV.pdf will give you the right one, the fwd.pdf is the index page.. http://www.nicoclub....FSM/350Z/coupe/ hth. 15. Has anyone else noticed their Gemini Invidia exhaust grows a little longer when it's warm? Once warmed up my tips come out about 1cm further.. Mark.
  16. Hello and welcome, so have you had your Z for over a year or a few weeks? I am guessing you meant May 2016??
  17. Hello and welcome, given you are here and planning mods i suspect it's too late for you and Zeditus has already taken hold! :teeth:
  18. Hello and welcome I'm a little further south, J14 of the M1..
  19. I know this is dredging up an old thread, but I wanted to thank Randy for this little guide. Wanted to move my esp button over to the right and the washer jet one to the inside so i wouldn't accidentally press it! Mark
  20. Either the site is now fixed or it was in an endless loop as they had sent me an email to activate my account and I hadn't done so (and they didn't feel the need to say this on the website...) But all paid up now. Mark
  21. Nor the website atm, something is up, once logged in it will not let you see your basket again or progress any further...
  22. I think i'll be watching this thread!! Always wanted an excuse for needing a Haltech ecu... Mark
