Yeah looking at the clips on the pics above, im thinking release the ones at the back with a trim tool then sort of lift and slide towards the front of the car and try and slide them out. then remove the pegs with the tool. Just gonna have to mask the paintwork up and go for it I guess, won't know till I try kinda thing. At least seeing the pics, I know its possible to get it off without damage

Sorry to revive this old thread, but this could be invaluable in my next mod. The V2 spoiler is coming off and being replaced (eventually) I need to get the spoiler off with no damage to it or the clips etc. as once its off im test fitting its replacement to refine it if needed before going to paint etc. Then the V2 will go back on temporary till its ready. So in short, any tips for getting the V2 spoiler off with no damage ? Thinking: Fishing line Cardboard Masking tape Assorted trim clip tools. Do I start on top or at the back when de-clipping ? etc etc All tips appreciated

You need to replace the bonnet hinges to do this on the 370, they have those daft pedestrian pop up hinges. Was considering it myself, then I saw what was needed so never bothered following up on it. Torqen listed a kit and hinges, probably still have them.

Been way too long since I updated.... Added some red coolant pipe work, New Z1 Dipstick topper, that was fun to fit..... Nismo mag sump plug, Oil filter (and Oil) and pads for installation before the remap. HFC's on Gotta say, HFC's plus short tails is loud, VERY loud 😆

Destination Peak District - Sun 20th Nov
Willsy1980 replied to davey_83's topic in European Meets, Road Trips & Rallies
Absolutely gutted I missed this one, was reasonably local to me and a fantastic area for roads. Some are a little bumpy, especially leading up to that carpark Fingers crossed there is another next year -
Seen a few at local Jap meets, they are a great looking car. Was not sure about them at first. But now I have seen a few up close... Would I have one ? nah, its just another BMW 😆

Had a feeling insurance might be a little more tricky with it. From what ive read, seems its pretty safe to do but all sources in the US. I was hoping there may have been someone here who had done it to the 70 or 50 and had some guidance and first hand experience.

As the title, looking for advice on going NOS Seems to be loads of FI builds Supercharged or Turbo'd not seen any NOS builds. So, what is a 'safe' boost on stock internals, will soon be EcuTek tuned for the CAS and HFC's can I throw a 100BHP shot of NOS safely ? How long does a 15Lb tank last etc etc Thanks for any advice

I'd be happy to cull the people behind the profiles too in some cases, ungrateful turds 😆

Being IT myself I know the pain of these things, all your efforts to get things back up and running are much appreciated. As for the 1% just delete their crap and forget they were ever a thing

Bargain that. One of the few that actually work, great induction noise too -
Love it, really need to get the sides done on mine. What % did you go with ?

Looking at those, they need to go back to bare, nightmare of a job unless sandblasting 😕

Hahaha seems like a fair offer

Fancy donating one of your AMS wings to a good cause ?

Would imagine the vulcanising glue from a puncture repair kit would be best, as its rubberised will allow for the sidewall flex

Been told mine will have the same emissions as a 1.0l Corsa by all accounts 🤣

Scrap value has taken a massive dip at the moment, looking around £530 for a set in good condition. Down from £700-750 a couple of months back. Holding on to mine till it goes up again or selling for £700 cash second hand to anyone that needs them.

Thought so, thanks for confirming

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I assume the cats off a 2019 Nismo will fit a 2011 GT too ? Got someone interested in them before I send for scrap value

Love the look of the carbon. That cubby cover would look good with the Z in silver

Yeah they are certainly worth the money, work much better with a bit of heat in them and don't seem to fade with some fast road action. As the Z is a weekend toy now, when she goes out for a drive, we drive
