  1. Dodgy looking wiring running from the battery cover over the plastics and seals down under the airbox, no doubt related to the naff DRL install. Safe to say there will be better out there for that money.
  2. Just need to get the sizes for the rest of the visible nuts and bolts now
  3. They are not Nismo, but Torqen have some cap covers that fix to the existing cap with grub screws
  4. That's pretty cool, clean set up and all the bling in the software 12/10
  5. Yeah Torqen are an option, was trying to see how much it is for loose stock so I can do them bit by bit when I get time. If I buy the full kit I will 100% lose one or two
  6. Does anyone have a list of all the various sizes, length, thread pitch etc for all the nuts and bolts on the engine bay. Only looking for the visible ones, thinking of replacing them, but buying them in loose stock from Pro Bolt https://www.pro-bolt.com/aluminium/?narrow=[["Colour"%2C"Red"]]&sort_by=relevency&disable_semantics=1&page_num=6 Cheers
  7. Bristol is the closest so far, im in Wigan. But if you find yourself way off course and up here, im happy to meet up
  8. Hahaha I only use the pace of 90 in football for training purposes As for the spacers, was advised the 20mm was absolute limit for the Nismo, so went with a step back. No point taking the risk of rubbing.
  9. New fuller arch look, thanks to Bob at Tarmac for the suggestion
  10. I think its a safe bet, Kwik Fit are talking sh*te. It's probably just the heat shields that are corroded on the cats. I'd get a trust worthy second opinion on them before shelling out the extra on HFC's if you are planning a full system and remap later then just go for the lot. Keep the cats and take them to the scrap dealers, worth a few quid back in your pocket for the precious metals
  11. Hahahaha he is pretty good actually, the FnF one just sounds like every Honda or Corsa in the country
  12. Just got back from Tarmac Sportz, Had their short Tails fitted, they certainly add 'Drama' Sound owner with a clear passion for Z's, £500 fitted and done within an hour (including 15mm spacers all round, extra £140 ) so a recommendation from me
  13. Short tails fitted, also indulged in some 15mm spacers all round Will get some fresh pics up when I wash her tomorrow. But damn, those short tails are loud, sound great bit of a drone at 90 on the motorway on throttle but totally worth it. Next up, in spring CAIS.
  14. Confirmed. Fit Tarmac Sports resonated short tails, you cannot hear the fake noise
  15. Fingers crossed they cover the fake noise pumped through the speakers, can't keep driving round with the mirrors vibrating from Bass to drown it out
  16. First mod booked in, Off down to Tarmac Sportz on Saturday for a set of resonated shorts
  17. Same, cost me less in fuel to pop down to Tarmac Sports and get the short tails fitted
  18. I'll just be using them for services till im out of warranty period, £276 all in for the standard P1 type service. Then most likely over to TDi North there after. Not many decent indies up this way with Z expertise unfortunately
  19. According to that any Nissan dealer should be able to do it, not sure how much they would charge for 5 minutes of turning it off... I'll ask when I go for a service.
  20. No worries, should do a predict the Bearing that failed comp I'll go with number 6 main
  21. Just a thought, would some carefully stuffed in electrical tape solve this over chopping away at wires ?
  22. Glad you have asked, I want to know the same. I know it can be turned off with a remap think its the ecutek one ? Im hoping there is another way for the mean time. I found this: If you want to disable Active Sound Enhancement (and you cannot do it programmatically with Nissan CONSULT) you can unplug (or cut) the ‘engine speed signal’ from the Bose Amp. It's the pin 28. Source: http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/115717-disabling-active-sound-enhancement-ase-active-noise-cancellation-anc-2016-a-2.html
  23. Yeah sounds very much like a rod knock that one, for the cost of some oil probably worth draining it and checking for shiny and or magnetic bits.
  24. Sure I saw that for 24k when I was looking for one, but the age and mileage compared to newer for slightly more. Never bother to go look at it.
