  1. As a guide, insurance wrote off my 05 roadster DE Touring spec 48,000 miles, roof skin was knackered and rear bumper had a slight split in it unrelated to the accident. Paid out £5.4k. By the sounds of yours i'd be listing at the 6-6.5k mark if serviced and MOT'ed etc
  2. Spotted Leigh bypass about 12 ish today. Gave you a flash. May have missed me due to the somewhat smokey old Skyline in front of me, poor old girl was burning some serious oil.
  3. If its anything like my Mrs was, another .5 mph and she would have been out of the frame for the photo
  4. I recall seeing something that anything Android 5 or above is not compatible. I may be wrong but given the year of release etc I can't see modern OS's being a certainty to work.
  5. As always, the go to guy. Message sent
  6. Does anyone know, do the aftermarket carbon finishers stick to the OEM finsher or do you remove the OEM and use the tape to fix them ? While wiping my door shuts this weekend, stupidly I lent on my drivers side one and busted the bottom clip
  7. I was 50/50 on the bonnet, didn't know it was CF. Thought he had just put clearcoat over the primer they come in
  8. Reading the add, looks well worth a viewing. Run on good oil, filter choice is a little dubious. But other than that seems like they have spent on the car whenever its needed it. Good brake components used. As Sim said, have a good look at it, CAT C so check the repair standards. Considering its up for 350 money, nothing lost by looking at it
  9. Good news indeed, must be a bad ground or knackered wire somewhere then. Sometimes electrical gremlins are worse than a mechanical issue. Harder to get to the bottom of.
  10. Hahaha blame accepted, responsibility denied
  11. I will let you know how they feel. Just debating if to get them done now. Or wait till I bang the 4 new MPSS on ? Thinking new anchors with the new boots.
  12. Ooops, I get the feeling I have enticed you into spending more then planned Sorry
  13. Wow, they look fantastic. The red and black Might have to grab a pair of these, let me do some measurements and pondering
  14. Zman will know better than I would so glad im sort of on track with the earthing view. Other option if you're going to get it in the air, maybe an aftermarket sensor and gauge would be a better option than trying to find a dodgy wire that could be behind the dash ?
  15. I'd be leaning towards a potential issue with the wiring, maybe been pinched/worn or a bad earth ?
  16. GLWTS Hopefully she finds an owner as caring as yourself.
  17. Have fun on the hunt, if any questions pop up when you start viewing cars the wealth of knowledge the good folks on here have will be able to answer them. One to note, if you see PE05 UVU Gun Metal Roadster, up for sale, stay away from it, was mine that got written off last year and went through Copart
  18. Next day these arrived, many thanks to Coz and the team at Torqen, super turn around
  19. Gotta love un marked buttons, push it see what happens Maybe if it's used in conjunction with the TCS off it plays Tokyo drift music
  20. Someone is going to grab a bargain at 20k
  21. Welcome along General consensus is to buy UK spec if you can, there are always plenty for sale. But the one main thing is buy the right Z not just any Z. Always test drive a few and be ready to walk away Oh and stay well away from Junction 17....
  22. Well they are 7k into their life, the dust is quite heavy from them so time to go. May as well pop better than OEM in, for the difference in price its a no brainer. Fluid will be done in line with servicing, unless I decide to do the discs before then.
  23. Sorry to hear your woes, always painful to be forced in to letting them go. @ZMANALEX might be worth a try. The death of 1 Z can breath life into many others as parts.
