  1. Don't care if they make it £3000 a year, im keeping mine and doing all I can to offset the green fleet
  2. Ouch! I get the low tax bracket on the 370 £160 ish a year
  3. Damn right, that crusty bird @*!# is lethal
  4. @12 mins or so..... But worth a watch, everything has its price too
  5. Main areas were where the quarter panel meets the sill infront of the rear wheels, over the arches filler cap area. Anywhere dirt and or water can pool really. Usually find seaside cars are the ones to avoid, salt kills everything As for insurance, you will find the purchase price has little to no influence of annual cost, a 2k Z will cost the same as a 9k Z its the up keep that will differ massively. Other things to look for are Oil level, regular services etc etc but I don't think they will be an issue on that one, seems to have had a loving home. Happy hunting
  6. How much depends how you have it done, cutting them out and replacing them isn't cheap. Just sanding back filling and paint is cheaper, but it will comeback again. But to hazard a guess, either way you're looking at £600-1500 with paint and labour.
  7. From the sounds of the ad, its been quite well looked after. Good tyres on it, CSC done and braided lines so not been maintained on pennies over pounds and seems a genuine example for its age. He mentions the rear arches are starting to go again so they may need cutting out and new welding in so factor that into your budget. Other than the usual used car buying advice, its one that is probably worth viewing. Read through the buyers guide one here, go over the car thoroughly and don't be afraid to walk away. 5-7k Z's always pop up for sale
  8. Clarification on the EcuTek connect, that allows you to BT to a iPad or smart phone to control the map selection, TC settings etc. Not the actual map or license ?
  9. Going off that valuation, if I park the Nismo now. In 15 years I can ask 100k for it
  10. A member with a similar name might be of help to point you in the right direction @ZMANALEX
  11. Not much help for the battery issue, but if the steering lock is starting to fail. Pull the fuse for it asap
  12. Spotted both driving past the Holiday Inn in Basingstoke this week. The 350 sounded lovely, could hear you rolling on the throttle up the road
  13. Try @ZMANALEX Sure he will have something
  14. Spotted about 9.05 Leigh bypass at the lights. Tidy looking 350
  15. Sorry should have clarified, its the same unit just one of them, unified meter/AC Amp. Pretty much everything online is pointing at that being the issue or the wiring associated with it. Some have had issues after installing aftermarket audio etc but they were cutting into it for 12v ? Other than that unit and fuses is it possible the cluster is faulty ? Could turn in to one of those you just keep throwing money at parts to try and diagnose :/
  16. From a bit of searching, think its fuse 6 maybe Listed as battery 10amp electrical parts. As you said though, 2 units in the aircon that can cause this too. For the bad earth/electrical issue start with the obvious, test the battery and the connections are good.
  17. Have you checked the fuse ? Think there is one in the foot well that does all the cluster. Not marked up as instruments though.
  18. Had one of these on mine, sounds decent but was a nightmare to fit. Took a good 4 hours and a lot of heating and bending to get it sat right. It just depends how fussy you are on getting it perfect
  19. Possibly a bad earth maybe ? Any other symptoms or just a whacko cluster ?
  20. :Amateur Detailer: One thing I will add, I always use a citrus or TFR pre wash before using foam. Auto finesse do both a citrus and TFR (Dynamite) in 5L bottles that are quite cheap Pre wash. Dilute that into a 5L pressurised garden sprayer (Screwfix do a good one for about £10) Pump Sprayer I pop a mist over the whole car then hit it with the foam, just gives it a bit more bite on the stubborn dirt. The foam does the rest. As for a foam gun, I have this one Foam gun Cheap but gives a decent thick foam. That one is for Karcher washers, but the fitting can be changed easy enough for other brands

    Cheap iPad

After a cheap iPad 4th, 5th, or 6th gen are fine, only need it for a touch pad for the smart home. Will be in a mount so not bothered if the back is scratched etc just as long as the screen is good. Message me if you have anything
  22. Pulled along side you to give a smile and wave. Payed no attention so I booted it
  23. As per the title, im on the look out for a tried and trusted wrapper in the North West, naturally if there is a member trader close ish (Zippy is about 300 miles away) id be happy to have them do it. Will be one panel and a rear window tint I want. Suggestions please
  24. As above, if its been sat that can be worse than one that's been used as a daily. Dry seals and gaskets perish might not rear its head for a few 100 miles but when it does, it will be pricey. Always better to buy a higher mileage car that's been look after than a low miler that's sat neglected.
