Thanks guys, I seem to be seeing quite a few with recent engine rebuilds at around 100k miles which concerns me a little. I was under the impression a well serviced one could do double that?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a 350z and my budget is about 5k, which puts a lot of high milage cars in my price range. How reliable are these engines?, how many zed engines fail? I've seen some lovely cars that have 120k+ on them, and some pretty tatty ones with less than 70k. My budget means I've got to compromise somewhere. What do you guys think?
